Emily this is the most uplifting example of common humanity that I've seen in a long time. Showing kindness, and understanding with a non-judgemental approach through one of your talents is absolutely beautiful. I am a mental health counsellor and I hear all the time how people struggle with their environments when they feel so broken inside. Sometimes people feel so much mess in their minds that they unconsciously put that mess into their living environments and can feel overwhelmed with trying to tackle it. Well done to you for being a strong influence in this ladies life xx

That’s why I love Emily… her heart is so pure and bright full of love and compassion. I follow her from the beginning and I have heard her first life story so I guess is one of the reason why she is so sensitive. She is a constant inspiration for me, an example of beautiful soul, sweetness and charme, real complete woman to learn from 💖

Yes, it’s so true! As soon as you step into both my parents houses, you can immediately see the effect of mental health struggles 😢 for them it’s quite an achievement if they manage to look after themselves physically, personal hygiene etc, cleaning the house is just too much for them, not for lack of trying

Tbh I've always been on guard for people and them being judgy and I've been watching her for about 6 years and she's the nicest person I've ever seen. She's so thoughtful and sweet it's amazing. I won't watch another mom on here ever lol

It’s amazing when you see people helping and not expecting anything in return. What you and Matt did for this family is so genuine, unselfish and kind. Im only 5 minutes in to this video and my thoughts and prayers are with this lady and her children. I’m so pleased for her that she was able to connect with you Emily and that she is putting other measures in place to heal. I can’t begin to imagine the pain she is feeling. Emily you handled this so brilliantly and with such sensitivity! The difference you and Matt will have made to this mum's life will be immeasurable! I loved that her kids room was the tidiest room in the house and that the lounge was literally overflowing with toys- she clearly puts her children above everything else. Hey Emily. Thank you so much for doing this. I grew up in a home like this (in fact my mum's home is still like this) and as a child I could never have friends over for the shame and embarrassment. This mother clearly loves her kids so much and just needed help resetting- thank you so much for giving her and her kids back their home so they can rebuild the rest of their lives.

This was so emotional to watch. Being a mom with 2 littles and a husband who is our world, I could easily see myself in a spot like this if tragedy hit us. I was in tears and gave my husband an extra tight hug. So thankful for the time you spent and work you did and compassion you showed ❤it’s so overwhelming to tackle things like this and having someone like you there makes such a huge difference.

This is the sort of thing we do to help support our families in Homestart Essex, it amazing to think folk suffer with their mental health and the first thing to be neglected is their safe place their homes. I don't have words . You are an amazing human being . I am a doctor and as such see a lot of patients struggling with mental health and easily lose the wish for life and having no more strength to keep going . But this woman showed so much willpower and you can tell how hard she is trying bless her . I will pray for her to ease her pain and keep fighting for herself and for her children ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This was great ❤️ I've watched a similar video on another channel and found that the content creator was quite judgmental of the person (even though she tried to come across as if she wasn't .. there, unfortunately, was an undertone) and that really turned me off. You have approached it so differently.. you can hear how understanding you are of the situation, like you've put yourself in her shoes, and come across like a friend just trying to help another friend out ❤️ Really looking forward to this series. Oh Emily, such a blessing you are! Thank you for caring for this sweet mom. I totally understand what she is going thru. I lost my guy at age 42 and my whole world was turned upside down for years afterward. Can’t imagine going thru this with kids as well. Your kindness in helping her is worth more than you know. I waited to watch this video until I could sit down and give it the attention it deserves. I had tears for the poor mum, tears for the kids and tears for both you and Matt doing such a beautiful thing for this lovely lady. I hope so much that the help you’ve provided has supported her along with the tools she’d already started - the meditation, yoga and therapy etc - to give both herself and the children a new normal. This was amazing Emily! I can only imagine how difficult life has been for that mom and her family, so it was wonderful of you to help! Also this was inspiring for those of us who don’t have perfectly clean or decluttered houses and who have some rooms that have gotten unmanageable over time. Sometimes it’s hard to figure out where to start and this video was so motivating! Please do more of these!

YES!!! What a fab thing to get involved with and so incredible you are able to offer us great content and hugely help someone and their family out. Grief is so huge it’s amazing you were able to find out about her story and lend a hand. Look forward to part 2. I’d really recommend that she pop along to her local church family, (google for one near her that looks friendly and welcoming) she doesn’t have to believe (and they will be welcoming regardless!!) anything to go along but I imagine, could hugely value the community and they may be able to provide her some meals and preschool or after school activities for the kids. She may even find new hope for her life if she decides to take what they are speaking about from the Bible but that’s up to her later down the line, getting some local community support would be the first port of call to her or anyone in this sitch 💛💛💛 thanks again and well done Emily!!

I cried a LOT during this whole video. What a beautiful sentiment, and a great way to pay it forward for someone in need. You really picked the perfect person, because she’s clearly ready for change. She has already put SO MANY changes in motion to work at reclaiming her joy and just needed this to help to bring peace back to her living space so can focus on starting fresh for her on sake and for her children. I believe we are all responsible for making this world a better place, not by dramatic larger than life gestures, but simply through acts of kindness…how we approach strangers we cross paths with in our day to day life and by serving where we are able, however big or small that might be. ❤️❤️❤️

What an amazing, uplifting way to begin the new year. You are so right, this isn’t just a clean, there is no greater gift than the gift of time. As a teacher, I see families struck by tragedy (sadly) all of the time and it changes the whole trajectory of a child/ parents life. What you have done is allow this person to begin to start to get back on track even if some people see it as ‘just a clean’ it’s so much more- Matt joining in as well 🙌incredible.

Wow! Emily what a great job so far. I'm a gardener, but because of the weather i've started cleaning some of my customers houses and it helps their mental health so much. People are so judgemental and don't bother to find out what is actually going on in someone's life. Looking forward to the next video. You've inspired me to do a bit of intense cleaning at home too.😍

This is such a lovely thing to do. That poor lady 😢 I lost my son almost 6 years ago and I know how that loss feeling can affect your day to day and everything is just so overwhelming. This will make a massive difference to her next steps of grief x
