sentimental hoarder tries letting go of clothes.. that he somehow has attached an unhealthy amount of value and memories to. join me as we go down memory lane! i've been wanting to do an extreme closet cleanout for awhile. enjoy me deep cleaning my closet / trying on everything in my closet / decluttering and organizing my clothes! will be selling on my depop soon!

If you ever do this again, I'd definitely be down for a less edited version. I'd much rather hear you speak about your experiences, thoughts and feelings regarding each piece than a sped up section of footage.

when you were talking about correlating clothes to a certain time period of your life, i really felt you. aside from clothes, it happens to me with books and music as well for someone who has a terrible memory, i sure was the leonardo dicaprio pointing meme whenever i recognized clothes from past vlogs, and i remember you mentioning that the colorful sweater(?) is your dad’s :’). there were a lot of very pretty pieces :D! selling/donating things you were saving for very specific occasions or things you simply don’t want anymore is a breath a fresh air!! this was a great video :)

Thank you. I needed this video today. I moved out of my family house and I am crying atm. I’m so overwhelmed with the feeling of being alone, I don’t like it. I recognise how grateful you should be for a family which is always there for you. Yours the knowledge that they could help you immediately. I don’t know if it was the right choice to love out. I don’t feel ready for life and I don’t want to be. I want to be a child again, to don’t have any worries. God I sound so stupid. I miss Highschool so much. I miss my friends. I just have to settle here but this is going to take forever.

Oh absolutely about connecting clothing to time. Due to being in college at the start of the pandemic, I had to evacuate and move in with different people suddenly because I needed to keep working but my family had pre-existing conditions so I wore the same roughly 20 pieces straight for like almost 3 years. Now I'm in graduate school and am struggling to mentally wear any of the clothes from that past time. You got this Dustin! True personal style develops with you and it's awesome that you're facing it head on!

As a sentimental hoarder myself, clothes was always the top things that I have a struggle of letting go of because of all the memories I did when I was wearing them. I'm taking this as a sign to do my own soon, as I plan to more out of the country and need to go through a lot of heavy lifting to have a lighter load for my suitcase! Also, the pants segment was my favorite. Love your dancing.

6:45 looks like a Mexican Guayabera, for its button up, front two lower pockets and the the style of two recurring design vertically down the chest on both sides of the buttons. It's considered traditional wear, and I actually think, at least from what I saw in the video, it was actually your size. That doesn't mean though that you can't get a size that fits to your preferences though!
