Ok so we are on our second flame sensor due to getting code 15 flame detected our sensor is reading flame 🔥 when there’s no flame we replaced the amplifier also and still get the same issue our problem is intermittent not always it will run for 14/20 hours and then it shuts off due to code 18 or 15

What makes burner fault? I often to reset

Why would it get soot or debris? It should be clean if the burner is operating correctly. I would definitely look further if there was an issue with flame signal.

You are right for the most part. If soot / dirt / debris are getting in front of that flame sensor there are most likely other problems. There are some burners thought that have an inlet port on the pilot scanner tube which could let dirt and debris from the boiler room and gunk up the scanner. Hopefully that makes sense. In any case, make sure that scanner is clean is a good check to have. Thanks for watching.

I operate a honeywell burner in a concrete manufacturing plant, I dry Mason, concrete sand, and pea gravel. Everyday now that we have had a new system installed, my burner shuts off shortly after combustion and when I attempt to start the burner back up, during the purge I receive Flame Detected Purge Delay. I also get lockout 14 high fire switch during operation. We have troubleshoot everything and can't seem to find the issue.

It sounds like you could have a number of different problems occurring. Fault 14 is a position or position-proving problem during purge, and that could certainly relate to lightoff-position flame failures as well. You will probably need a service call to your local boiler company to solve this one. Appreciate the comment. Thanks for watching

@@wareboilers unfortunately the technician that installed the new honeywell system is in Florida and Quikrete is in Louisiana lol. It's beyond me why the company hired an out of state tech knowing he won't be able to come on a moment's notice. We finally got it running properly, but I think something was rigged up to make it run constantly, which could have consequences in the future. Thanks again you have a new subscriber.
