Here's a car I would never want to buy. I credit that he's done a fabulous job of cleaning every surface that's accessible, but mold is going to be in every place it can go including ones you can't reach to clean. It's going to be in the door panels, in the dashboard, in the ductwork and a hundred small place. The spores will carry it and the buyer will react to it. Just pointing out the limits even to this kind of detailing.

There is zero evidence for any kind of mould being a direct carcinogen (although some types can produce carcinogenic substances in some conditions but highly unlikely in this instance) but it sure can cause respiratory issues aplenty for a kick off. Fully agree that a proper respirator is needed at a minimum. A suit is overkill unless you really don't want it on your clothes, but I'm guessing our man here probably gets his gear straight in the washer after something this minging!

A channel I like a lot is "M539 restorations". This guy buys special BMWs (older ones, often V12) and restores them. Sometimes he sell it back. Other times he keeps it. He's not pretentious at all and will even celebrates his mistakes. It is very instructive and quite funny too. I find he's a riot. I recommend his channel to those that have a soft spot for beemers. He is located in Germany but speaks English.

I would imagine them being quite clean. Parts where dead skin, grease, sweat, hairs and other bodily fluids and organ matters stick tend to get moldy when car sits for a long time. Ac ducts dont get exposed to organic materials so they should be quite clean. Thats why sun visors were so dirty but headliner around it was much cleaner - you only touch the visors. I would still highly recommend steaming the ac ducts, using an air con sanitizer and replacing cabin air filter.

No were near as bad as this but after watching your other videos I ordered a set of spin brushes for the cordless and omg. Amazing is the only word I can think of. Totally effortless as well as the cordless does all the hard work. Love watching these videos. Great tips ☺

A Dehumidifier is a worthwhile investment for drying items that have been wet washed. Place it in the middle of the vehicle and it'll suck out all moisture present. A lot cheaper than leaving the heating on to dry a vehicle out, in the long run.

Once again just vacuuming made a lot of difference! Despite that being one of the dirtiest looking, that looked quite easy for you to clean compared to the Red Ford(?) those seats took some doing. A KZfaq channel air like to mention is ‘Alex Carter’ he’s basically a car audio installer in my town - Swindon and when I decided to get new stereo fitted I checked to see if there was a KZfaq channel. A lot of content is him working on cars, and he’s a huge Snap-on tool fan and gets visits from the Snap-On van every Tuesday and has two huge tool boxes. The car audio content can be quite interesting, shows a lot of common mistakes ppl make installing for example DAB antennas. Other channels, although they’re doing quite well, are electricians ones such as CJR Electrical, Nick Bundy, Adam the apprentice, DSES (Dave Savery) and so on. These ppl are proud to show off their work, and I think any decent business should use it to show your worth.

Talk about extremes! Goodness knows what was lingering in that clag. Reminded me of my favourite 'Star Trek' quote: "It's Life Jim, but not as we know it". And a recommendation. 'Autoshine Cars' is a great 'Alpha' channel. by that I mean Alpha, 'A', the start of the alphabet. At the other end is 'Omega', 'Z', if you will. There is a strange fascination in seeing cars being re-cycled and there are channels showing then being crushed etc.. Found a new one a few weeks ago. the guy is in New Mexico. He is a keen - I would say gifted - photographer. He is experimenting with his cameras and the videos are getting better and better all the time. His job - he strips cars of their valuable components, i.e. wiring looms, radiators, engines etc. using a pincer on a Volvo excavator. The skill of the man is phenomenal. Also, he is taking some great Drone footage of the area where he lives etc. If you want to see 'Omega' after 'Alpha', I heartily recommend having a look at his site. He just calls it after his name which is perhaps he does not have so many subscribers yet. The site is simply called: Julius jao Enjoy.

Mold spores can be very harmful to your health just breathing them in. You should have worn a respirator. Also, here in the USA most detailing shops would have used an ozone generator to kill all the mold inside the car. All you did was remove the visible mold. There may still be mold spores in the headliner, the seats, carpet pads and many other places. I strongly suggest using an ozone generator before returning that car to the owner. Mold spores GROW, so if they aren't completely eradicated, they will return.

I obvs watching Bedo's Leatherworks. He's a cobbler who puts the utmost care and craftsmanship into repairing leather shoes, boots, LV bags, etc. I've never seen someone pay as much attention to detail as Steve does.

Hi mate, like watching a few detailer channels. Specky McSporran fellow scotsman, Paul Dolden, cracking 1st name, and recently found this guy every day detailing. I thank you guys for inspiring me to have a go at making a business doing this in the not to distant future. Thank you for all your content and your invaluable tips. Take care, Pol

You did an amazing job! I cant believe they trashed the car that bad. I wonder hows the battery condition. Early 2022 i just bought a Leaf 1st gen just like this car. Since the gas price is up this car price goes crazy pricy. I got lucky get ahead just few weeks before the price went up with same year and model over 7k difference. The car that i bought only has 29k mileage on it. Very reliable car.

An electric car parked in a barn for one year? Just go ahead and crush it! The cost of a battery replacement and a restoration of the onboard electrics and electronics would just overcome the value of the car. That said Gary, the video is interesting and entertaining as usual, thank you!
