With all those followers and no takers in deep water, especially clear water, switch to trolling. I troll almost exclusively for Muskies. The biggest fish tend to suspend by suspended bait fish. Way too much talking while holding the fish....get her up, board her if you must, quick 5 second pose for the camera (Pull your still pics from the video) and back in the water. I troll alone most of the time, I have actually timed it from net to back in water and I can do it in less than 60 seconds and still get a great pic. Let's keep the fish stress down as low as possible! Trolling alone at night, then dealing with a big fish is NOT easy! Did a nice job. Keep the deck as clear as possible.

I know a great tip for anyone that trolls much and especially alone. Lay your net over one side of the boat as if there was a fish in it, then measure from the end of the handle to a cleat or rod holder on the opposite. Cut a length of bungee cord just a bit shorter. Zip tie and duct tape one end to the net handle, then zip tie and duct tape (The tape covers the sharp part of of zip tie end) a d-ring clip to the other end of the bungee cord. Then, when you have a fish the net, just clip the other end to the opposite gunwale (cleat or rod holder) and you are completely hands-free on the net! It makes a huge difference in getting the fish unhooked by yourself and not worrying about the net and fish going overboard. It also helps lifting the fish out too without worrying holding the net. Took be 20 years of trolling to learn this trick...LOL!

11:06 this guy always loses fish in nearly every Keyes video I’ve seen him in - because he always changes direction abruptly instead of walking around the boat or trying to make a wide turn to turn the fish. He swings the rod all the time and loses fish all the time. So many more fish in the boat if he stopped doing that, it’s hard to watch.
