Honestly the first day I saw those bombs hitting I was surprised there was not 10k dead. Certainly a lot of people are dying but when you look at Gaza, and how crowded it is, there is a clear will from Israel to minimize civilian casualties especially when you see they can drop upwards of 200 bombs a day. Most Israelis don't like it that civilians are killed. This is not the point of the operation and the war. The war is against Hamas, and the way Israel is fighting is the ONLY possible way. There is no other way. None. As horrible as it is, it's the only option. It was designed to be a horrible war on the expense of the civilians by Hamas. Every single move they make is on the expense of the Gazans. Some support Hamas ideologically, and many are victims. Hamas is one of the most totalitarian regimes in the world and almost any other regime that might replace it will be better for the palestinians. But for Hamas to be removed, this war needs to move forward without any ceasefire.
