I may pick on Bravadas a lot, but it's all in fun. Here is a brief explanation followed by an actual Oldsmobile training video from 2000

My buddy’s mom bought a brand new Bravada in 1994. It was dark green with tan leather interior and had the gold badges and wheels and a full digital dash. It was a pretty nice vehicle for the time. The Bravada used the same AWD system from the Syclone/Typhoon and Astro/Safari van and so it wasn’t marketed as a true 4x4 off road capable SUV like the Chevy S-10 Blazer and GMC Jimmy which had a selectable transfer case with 4-High and 4-Low as well as the normal 2 wheel drive. Having owned a 1992 4 door S-10 Blazer I can tell you that the 1994 Bravada my friends mom had was so much nicer and comfortable not too mention that the 200 horsepower engine in the Bravada was a significant improvement over the 160 horsepower I had in my Blazer. But I have to agree with you that as long as people don’t do stupid mods to the Bravada then they’re great for what they were at the time. I certainly would have loved to had one in 1994.

Haa I have bravada front end on my s10. I just got a bravada yesterday. And I am going to get a 2door blazer and put an isuzu hombre front end on it. I love using stock parts to make what the factory never did. Hate me.
