Amazing footage and stoic decent people. The damage to Plymouth was immense and sometimes overlooked by commentators. I couldn't recognise any particular area.

A very moving film. My home town of origin..both my parents were in the Royal Navy based in Plymouth during the war. What a disaster for the city. How brave the people were, as the Ukrainians are being now against an evil enemy. What the poor people went through back then. 😞 As children we had no idea what our parents had been through and we played happily on the 'bomb sites' as we called them!

1:40 looks like the Devonport end of Keyham with the straight road leading to three story houses on the opposite hill, possibly halfway up Barton Avenue?
