12 ounces of Mountain Dew weighs about the same as 12 ounces of water -- about 12 ounces, or about 3/4 pound, avoirdupois. The cans weigh about half an ounce each (there are 31 12-ounce cans to the pound; I looked it up), which is around 782 pounds, unless there are more than 1000 cans of the stuff. I estimate 1280 cans, give or take some pallets and packing material.

@@johnlloyd2390 He said three 18-packs per box and there's 20 boxes. Equals 1080 cans. He also said 1008 cans in the video. My guess is he misspoke and it's actually 1080 cans. Probably around 900lbs without the cardboard boxes.

@@fredriksthern8043 He's had some issues with fans showing up at the shop uninvited, psycho-fan style, so he doesn't broadcast the address. You can find it pretty easily by doing a little bit of looking. It's not that hard. Anyone posting it here would probably find themselves in pretty hot water.

@@Rodems1 I was thinking the same thing, but the cans are measured in fluid ounces, which is a measure of volume, not weight. Kinda like a gallon (128 ounces) of water weighs significantly more (8.34 lbs) than a gallon of gasoline (6lbs).

Put Ruby to work. Have her drive to Houston pulling a trailer full of Mountain Dew to Cleetus and Cars Houston. Borrow a pick up truck, put a liner in the bed. Stuff a lot of ice in the bed, and put the Mountain Dew in with the ice. Great way to draw folks to your Booth!

Tomorrow (Saturday) is Clear the Shelters across the country. Almost all animal shelters are participating. Stop by tomorrow (Saturday) to each of your local shelters and donate a case or two to each. They can sure use the caffeine. They will be working like crazy on one of their busiest days of the year. I know you guys are animal lovers, so help them out.
