Too cliche and unoriginal. Even by my standards. The lesson is, It's no matter what your work is, family comes first. Work shouldnt consume so much of your life that you don't have time to spend with them. You gotta try and balance out work and family, otherwise, you'll lose one or the other. We all need money to support are family, that's a damn fact, but what's the point of making all that money when you don't have time to spend with your family? Get so caught up in our jobs that we tend to easily forget what's important.

This movie teaches you what your life will be like in the future if you don’t act right soon and you don’t miss out on family times. So the lesson here is: QUIT YOUR FRICKIN JOB FOR A BOSS THAT DOESN’T WANT YOU TO SPEND TIME WITH YOUR FAMILY! (I’m just playing, I’m not angry).

Love the part at 1:18 when Adam flips off Samwise Gamgee (I don't know the character's name). Teases him one last time but finally acknowledges that he's a good man who took care of his family when he was on autopilot all those years. Touching scene.

Movies are losing that touch of soul & morals nowadays. Everything is CGI action & demonic possession movies, with some lame forgettable comedies every now and then. What happened to movies like Homeward Bound? The Green Mile? Good Will Hunting? Stand by Me? Movies that taught life lessons, things you can take with you as you leave the theaters, now its just force fed brain candy with top notch digital graphics.

Altered Perceptions Movies like that are being made every year, you just have to look elsewhere than Hollywood blockbusters. With that said, the movies you list are all from around 20-30 years ago, when Hollywood was already firmly in the business of pumping out trash. Now the trash is flashy. That flashy cgi isn't the problem, the problem is that the movies are still trash underneath. CGI is just a tool, misuse of the tool isn't the tools fault. Film continues to evolve, and while there is a lot of trash out there, this is the best time for film ever. With equipment becoming less expensive and more accessible, more filmmakers are able to make films, and more truly talented artists will be able to share their work. If you only look to top grossing blockbusters, you are seriously missing out.

Because it’s Adam Sandler. His style of humor is more low brow which critics are not usually a fan of. He also has a reputation of phoning it in with his movies (which is kinda deserved) so whenever he stars in an alright movie, they can’t see past the fact that it’s an Adam Sandler movie.

For without pain, there can be no pleasure. Without sadness, there can be no happiness. Without misery there can be no beauty. And without these, life is endless, hopeless, doomed and damned. Time travel would disrupt the meaning of life and ultimately would cause more pain and problems then it would fix . In a moment it is easy to shortsighted think that ability to control your own flow would be a gift but that is what this movie's lesson is . It would have been better. It also would have been better if they cut out the David Hasslehoff scenes, and the scene in the car with the voices. You in turn replace those with more dramatic scenes, and you have a good movie. Adam Sandler is a good dramatic actor, but dear Jeezy Creezy is he not funny.

You kids are mistaken tragedy with quality, acting like good movies cannot have happy endings doesnt make you a critic. @@Barrie96 There does seem to be some high IQ autistic people who can't understand the appeal of Adam Sandler to neurotypical people. Like yes, I get that he's acting like Adam Sandler, that's his brand, that's why I'm watching the movie in the first place. If I wanted to see an actor transform himself I'd go rent a Christian Bale movie. Sandler is totally underrated as an actor by everyone except his peers. People in Hollywood generally seem to have some level of respect for him. And clearly he's making enough people laugh that he's still working when most comedians of his SNL class are all thankful for a project that hits major theaters every six years.

Five years ago, I had to move away from my long lost friends (I met them again this past August) and never really felt happy. I’ve shut everyone out of my life for 5 years and worked hard in school. I have a nice girlfriend but unfortunately can’t make the time to see her (cause she lives far away). And after my dad left when I was 6, I sort of grew up without a father figure. Today, I was working on homework not thinking about spending time with family. They called me out of my room (cause I don’t want distractions) to hang out and I simply said “k”. I picked out Click because I never got a chance to ever watch it. But after Michael mourned for his father and chased his son to the road (this scene), I realized that I was sort of heading down this road already. Though my family didn’t notice, I literally broke in tears watching the ending scenes of Click. After watching the film, I went o my room and I started crying more. And I need some help now.

The movie wasnt a dream. It was a second chance... Morty granted him a secpmd chance. Made him wale up like it was a dream. Truthfully it all happened because the morale is we would all do the same thing adam sandlers character did. Morty gave him a second chance... To either choose to get the remote or go home and enjoy the life he had. So it actually wasnt a dream. Or so i think.

The movie serves as preview of his life for sandler's character if he had continued on his path It all did happen from Michael's Perspective But didn't from morty's Morty just gave him a preview of his life Exactly as it would be if he had continued to do what he did He just made the remote a catalyst

I think it'd be cool if they made a sequel, but with Sandler now being the character being the tour guide of the remote, and giving it to a new protagonist, someone who needs to know the value of family. It could be interesting.

Adam Sandler is quite an enigma sometimes. One minute, he's making you laugh, then he's making you grown at something stupid and then next, he's giving a good performance that actually makes you cry. Even the almost flipping off the boyfriend and turning it into an "okay" 👌 is a legit funny moment that somehow doesn't ruin the mood of a legit emotional scene. Impossible to manage, but he did it.
