I was lucky enough to be at the Black Deer festival & see this in person. It was amazing to watch & hats off to guys for entering. Jay was so funny on stage & if ever the Let’s get ready to rumble guy from WWE quits then Jay should be next in line with his EAT!!!!!. Cheers Al

* Just an observation: there's something wrong with the audio, it sounds to me like the mic is picking up the sound but in a muffled way. ( edit: I had an awful time hearing what Jay was saying most of the time ) I see some people employing the 'crack off the stem' method which I think is brilliant as you can overcome at least some of the heat climbing. But with me, it's subjective as I've had not - so - hot rated peppers that have burned me pretty bad. Like the time I got a Vietnamese sub and told them to put lots of peppers in it - Bird's Eye chilies - and I got burned just like eating a Ghost Pepper, with sweat pouring off my face while my daughter sat there eating her sub while laughing at me LOL. So I wonder if it was the way my physiology was that day, or what? Anyway I heard a lot of people cheering for Phoebe, as was I, and unfortunately she couldn't munch down The Intimidator fast enough ... so congratulations to Ben! Thanks for another escapade into oral agony and all which it entails. No one does it like the Clifton Chili Club~!

Unfortunately, the audio is slightly dependent on the audio running through the stage system bit thank you for letting us know. Phoebe was a trooper, wasn't she?!

In South East Asia, most of the chillis there are Bird's Eye Chillies. In Indonesia, we call them "Cabai Rawit". It depends on the varieties, some of them can reach more than 100,000 SHUs, probably 150,000-200,000 SHUs! So if you order your sub with lots of chillies, they can put probably 8-10 of them. That's why they can burn like a Ghost Pepper

As someone with no teeth but can handle my chillis, how do you think i might fare? Like how hard to chomp on are they? I totes would have problems with the intimidator i think hehe
