I had my DCCV out from the top in 20 minutes and the new one in after about 15 minutes ( 3.0 Petrol ). Thanks for the video!

Good evening, I have a 2008 Jaguar S-Type that when the A/C is on, blows cool air on the driver's side vents, and hot air on the passenger's side vents. I've already recently replaced the DCCV and the blend door actuator on the passenger's side with no luck yet. At this point, I believe soldering/a repair kit is my next option to try fixing the issue...just wanted your expert opinion on the matter, thanks! -P.J.

If you watch my last video on the subject. I USED jumper. Just jump it first before before soldering it. I think the jumper is would have held and wouldn't even to soldering. It's not hard at all.

Thanks for uploading.. I have done the same as you.. replaced the twin valve jobby in the engine bay.. still blowing hot so with your kind help i will attempt the module repair.. fingers crossed..

Its a super simple repair. If you don't know how to solder might want to practice first. Just need four solder joints. Just don't get them to HOT and burn stuff

@@dfweurocars Hi.. yes i repaired the circuit damage myself.. it was clear to see where the printed circuit had burnt and separated.. cleaned and prept it and soldered it back.. It worked perfectly again.. i sold the car about 4 months ago and it was still working just fine..

Well the traces burned when the coolant bypass shorted and didn't catch fire. If your worried install an inline fuse. I am not worried. If it shorts again it will just burn wire. It's just 12 volt. If the manufacturer would have fused it into fuse box it never would of burned traces it would have blow fuse and saved computer.

Hello, thank you! Is it necessary to do any kind of installation when the climate control module is taken out and replaced by the repaired one or another one? Can I drive without this CCM or will there be any problems?

If you read any manual, it always say to disconnect the battery. I didn't. I just disconnected it took in house and soldered it. Two traces were burnt. Just put jumper across the. Whole repair is less than an hour. Real simple. I don't know the answer to your question. I don't think it will hurt anything but this module control heater bypass. So without it hot water will being through heater core.

2006 Type S. Same technique will work on most any computer with broke/burnt trace

What should i look for in the climate module case under the passenger seat? So in my case. I've replaced the dual valve. Which gave me a little cold on the passenger side by hot on driver side. So i decided to buy new ac controls. Which is by the radio area. I just got them.l, replaced it and its still the same as one i currently have. Hot on left and little cold on left. What is yur advice on the device u where fixing? I wana get a used try and see if that will fix it. Or just try fix mine lile u did. Ples let me know.

You got nothing to lose by trying to fix it your self. Remove the glove box. Go through the stuff I did in the video. Feel the heater lines going to the heater core. There are three. one is left and one is right and one is return. If you feel any hot water in those lines the dual value is not being energized to close off the coolant. Check your actuators and make sure they are working/moveing the doors. There are two other problems common and thats the connections in the wire harness. The garage gave me an estimate of $2000 to fix this. Took me less than an hour to take out solder and replace for free. Cost me nothing.
