Climate Protesters Block Boris Johnson’s Motorcade on Way to Buckingham Palace

Climate protesters have tried to block incoming prime minister Boris Johnson's journey down The Mall as he travelled to Buckingham Palace for an audience with the Queen.
Mr Johnson's motorcade stopped briefly as it met the demonstration, where people wearing red t-shirts formed a human chain to block the passage.
Police intervened to move the protesters away and let Johnson's convoy proceed.

Fun fact: If you use methods people hate to try to make people love your message, people will like you and your message LESS. I too think there are many things that need to be done about the state of the earth and the environment, but I use polite and logical ways to tell people my thoughts, instead of forcing my ideas upon them.

You should share that message. I have become less tolerant of these methods. I tune out the message completely and focus on how selfish this is. My Middle-aged father by himself did a better job back in the 1990s after the fall of the Soviet Union. He wanted a visa to visit his elderly mother. A high-ranking Russian official was visiting Washington D.C. at the time. Long line of protesters with signs. As the limo slowed down, dad jumped onto the hood with his sign. Which he sprawled across the windshield. Stopped the limo and traffic by himself. Took a couple of moments for the Secret Service to react and tackle him off the hood. Russian official actually got out of the limo to talk to him. He was lucky he didn't get charged. He also got his visa.

I feel like these kind of protests are counterproductive. It's like "yeah we made them angry, we won!" But in reality, the more angry you make your opponent, the further seated in their position they become. It's like watching small children bicker. The whole point should be to change someone else's mind right? If all you wanted to do is make someone angry, I guess it was a success. If you wanted to change someone's mind, I'd say it was an absolute failure.

I hate to say this, but protesting about climate won’t do anything at this point, meteorologists state that the earth is heading to an absolute direction of global warming. They also say its also apart of a cycle the earth has.
