This mountain really is the killer mountain, just to get to the base camp you have to trek with Glacier Crampons for about 40 miles, it’s very very easy to twist or sprain your ankle before you even make it to the base camp, then you see the mountain & will not believe how can it be so steep vertically, truly blows your mind away, makes you tired just by looking at the dam thing.

Falcon Exactlyyy! I recently saw the 3d Model of Everest climb and honestly the difficulty level is no way near to that of K2.

If Abruzzi Spur is the easiest one of all the routes, I can’t begin to comprehend how difficult must the other routes be. But that view from the top in the end makes up for all the blood and sweat you put into climbing this beauty.

That's an amazing bit of work there. Both the video and of course the mountain, to say nothing of the climb. I see death all around and yet am fascinated by the challenge.

That triangle or pyramid is the shadow of K2. Absolutely stunning mountain and range!!!

I belongs to this beautiful valley Shigar.I love the hardworking porters who carry 25 kg luggage from askoli to K2 base camp(90 km).I love Shigar and also love K2.I never went at base camp but one day I will definitely go there(Inshallah).

@@k2vlogs662 unfortunately not yet. But it’s simple to make virtual route these days. One day I’ll be there (hope to meet you up in the Karakoram)

What is it like to parachute the mountain top instead of trying to descent?

Winds would be extreme up there, so if you tried to parachute you'd probably drift away from the summit. It could be possible though
