Glacier National Park's Going to the Sun Road hosts numerous adventure possibilities. Hiking and summiting Piegan Mountain via Lunch Creek is an excellent choice. If you're looking for incredible views from the top of Glacier and you don't have the entire day to spend than look no further than the slog, scramble and climb up Piegan Mountain. Gaining nearly 3,000 vertical feet in just over a mile will reward you with unbelievable views of Going to the Sun Road, Reynolds Mountain at Logan Pass, Piegan Glacier and eventually Mount Siyeh to the north. Many Glacier Valley is also viewable from the summit of Piegan Mountain. This is an excellent choice to get away from the many crowds that accumulate throughout the busier parts of Glacier National Park.
