Nice climb Sir, I’m new to tree climbing and was wondering about cambium layer damage if not using a friction saver🤔 any advice please

Hi Stuart, I always use a ring to ring cambium saver. I climb MRS. It protects the tree and doesn’t fuzz up the ropes.🇨🇦🇺🇸

Love your climbing style! Is there a certain reason why you are not using the zigzag PLUS version?

Only because this one was on offer when I bought it and I figured I can always buy a swivel attachment for my bridge later on if I really need it, but I haven’t found that I need it that much. Does the plus version have any other benefits? And thanks again I’m glad you really enjoyed it 😊

Have you tried ascending SRT?

I haven’t yet as I was taught DRT, but I feel like I need to give it a go 🙂

I wish I had adopted it earlier, if only to save energy ascending. Definitely grab yourself a chicane if you haven't already. Good videos
