SO- I live in Perth, Western Australia. One thing to know about Perth is that it is a well known joke that if you don’t know someone in Perth, you know someone who does- basically, it’s such a small place that you always have at least one mutual with everyone. This is even more the case with ANY kind of celebrity from Perth- everyone has a story/connection to any celebrity from Perth because we’re so small that it’s exciting; for example, my friends grandmother was Heath Ledgers drama teacher, I went to the same school as Kathryn Langford (AND her mum was my psychiatrist), Isla Fisher dated my sports teacher, the list goes on- and this is not a special thing to me. This is everyone’s experience in Perth, if there’s a celebrity from here you damn well know about them. SO- explain to me why NOBODY here knows who Clinton Kane is. He is blowing up on Perth Tik Tok right now because nobody has heard of him and we all know that we would KNOW about Clinton if he was actually a Perth dude. Not only that, I was also born in 1999 which means we would be in the same year group and I have NEVER heard of this man!! Also, he says he grew up in a mansion on the beach with maids???? Firstly we don’t have houses actually on the beach, but also maids are not a thing here- I’ve never heard of anyone having anything like that here. Cleaners, yes. Nanny’s? For sure. Live in maids?? I don't know if that has anything to do with it but I can't help but feel it it's just normal for people to exaggerate a little bit when they're telling a story. Particularly when they're emotional or triggered. You're not going to remember the details exactly and it's just me just seems like normal behavior. It's different when the "exaggeration" is actually a fabrication that completely changes the narrative.

My ex and I had a whirlwind relationship kinda thing (thankfully a very good relationship because we got together unadvisably fast) and the fact that he was bilingual came up pretty early on. With the Google calendar, sure they weren’t together every single day, but the days they didn’t see eachother range from 1-3 days in a row, while the days they did see eachother range from 1-5 days in a row!! If I see someone for 4 days in a row, don’t see them for 2 days, then see them AGAIN for another 3 days in a row, it’s not going to feel like I have enough down time away from them; it absolutely would feel like I was ALWAYS with them.

small point, but as someone from SoCal, it’s EXPENSIVE just existing here. him trying to portray these trips as “little,” “small,” etc makes it seem like he’s trying to make it seem like she’s lying when no, taking any trip here will rack up money real quick and you can absolutely have a wild vacation no matter where you go. he’s probably betting that people don’t know the area or costs that much but as someone who’s lived here their whole life, it can 100% be super expensive and a wild time no matter where you go here.
