19-06-23: clipping - Story 2 (Metal Cover)
Bit of a different thing this week. Rather than being focused on the guitars, this was more of a way to get used to having time signature changes in FL Studio. I love clipping and this song in particular uses time signature changes and a BPM change to intensify the story being told so I figured why not turn it into a "metal" version? if you're a fan of industrial, I highly recommend checking clipping out. The blend of experimental, industrial sampling with hip-hop elements is truly amazing.
(i really hope KZfaq doesn't take this one down because I used the music video, I just wanted people to see it lol)
I highly recommend reading the lyrics while listening to the song for added dread lmao.

I love how Clipping experiment with different sounds. In one of their tracks alarm the clock is used as a rhythmic section, and then it suddenly transforms in a chord in chorus

If anyone is looking for more clipping brilliance, the extended video for Enlacing and Pain Everyday (two songs that are rolled into one video) is just staggering. Enlacing is just a banger but Pain Everyday is terrifying, cant recommend it enough.
