Peter Parker has finally managed to piece together the once-broken parts of his life, maintaining a balance between his relationship with Mary-Jane and his responsibility as Spider-Man. But more challenges arise for our young hero. Peter's old friend Harry Obsourne has set out for revenge against Peter; taking up the mantle of his late father's persona as The New Goblin, and Peter must also capture Uncle Ben's real killer, Flint Marko, who has been transformed into his toughest foe yet, the Sandman. All hope seems lost when suddenly Peter's suit turns jet-black and greatly amplifies his powers. But it also begins to greatly amplify the much darker qualities of Peter's personality that he begins to lose himself to. Peter has to reach deep inside himself to free the compassionate hero he used to be if he is to ever conquer the darkness within and face not only his greatest enemies, but also...himself.

Man I just love a well placed front kick. You can tell that they are from my generation, or at least the writers were, with little quips of "how you like that?" and "is that all you got?" in the middle of a fight.

Interesting thing about this movie - it got bloated because the studio wanted venom in it for the merch. This basically ruined the story Raimi wanted to tell. But now, almost 20 years later, the Bully Maguire meme is fire, and all these sequences that everyone hated are now immortalized as some pre-sigma parker

Sony screwed up spider man 3, even if this was the movie that made the most out of all 3 of the movies. Should have just let Sam Rami continue to hold onto creative control over the movie and they probably would have made more money and we would have had a better movie

No, it's alright the way it is. Fun and hilarious due to its silliness not serious like the other 2. I often rewatch it just for a good laugh. If I want good plot and story, I would watch Spidey 2.
