This fantastic close encounter with an African Elephant, took place at the Mhkuze Falls Lodge. Mike Barrow kept his camera rolling whilst an African Elephant decided to come stick his trunk out for an extraordinary greeting, by sniffing Mikes wife, Trish Barrow. The majestic elephant also brushes his tusks over Mikes petrified sister Amanda, she remained calm and was later seen mouthing the words "Okay, I have had enough now!" African Elephants are extremely intelligent and very protective over one another, they are also very dangerous specially when calves are around, many elephants are known to storm and turn over vehicles in attempt to protect the herd. This is one of the most fantastic videos I have ever had the pleasure of seeing!
