What a wonderfully self-aware woman. This woman found her voice. Great insightful documentary. 👏

Very powerful Song. Whether. She had experienced opiate addiction or not at this point, it rings as true as true can be. Morphine by the way has. A shorter half life than heroine. So it hits hard quickly, but leaves quickly and if not renewed the pain comes rushes back in.Of course I mean the physical pain if that’s why you are taking it.Ii you are taking it to get high it’s a very jerky and sticky high not all that good.

To think. Brian Jones death, her and Micks trip to Ausrtralia, her hospitalisation all occurred within 2 weeks. No mention of Brian at all.

Though it was a completely different era, there is a strange similarity between Marianne and Gene Tierney, both beautiful, both from cultured backgrounds, both educated, both talented in a way that needed expression, yet both survived the self destruct button. The lead crystal, has hit the floor, though smashed, is beautiful evermore, it's pains passed on, it's beauty now gone.

There is one on Gene somewhere on You Tube.

Interesting comparison. I would point out, just as an aside, that Faithful became older, and learned her craft.

I read Marianne s autobiographie just every Night, before I sleep. So good to find this vids, that complets all. Have only one question.... what happens with the son Nicholas during all this? Hope, he is a happy man. I adore Marianne for her true feelings. Xoxoxo

Obviously getting high and hangin with the boys was frowned upon back then....plus the fact there were probably mostly men journalists back then....no way was she getting out of that unscathed, but I am glad she survived...
