That was very motivating! We've been redoing floors and not one room in my house is in order and when I get overwhelmed I freeze up. These longer videos are nice to put on to get through the bigger jobs.

Great tips, I'm also a person who gets overwhelmed, and I cannot take everything out of a closet, I usually go in sections or by shelves.😊

It was interesting to hear about what happened to you in cosmetology school. Funny how a pair of scissors can bring back memories. Bittersweet. My daughter graduated high school and she is applying cosmetology school now. Thank you for the closet motivation. I just finished mine, but looking for ideas on any little details that I could possibly apply to make my closet even better. 🤩👍🏻

It's great that you donate to animal shelters as well, especially as it gets colder. 💔 I try to do the same and ask friends and neighbors. I'm a huge animal lovers, especially dogs and it breaks my heart to think about them living in shelters, especially when it's cold. You did a great job. Lots of love! How's your husband and family?

Hi Michelle - wow that was quite a job. But I bet you feel great now. I do my closets as part of my zone cleaning and it works for me. Each time I dust off the top shelf and even the pole that holds the clothes I have some shelves in the side of the closet and I cleaned those and I have built-in shoe racks at the bottom and I clean those. I always look for some clothes to get rid of out of there. recently I have lost about 46 pounds so I tried on a bunch of clothes in there that I thought would fit me now but guess what they’re even too big. Boo I wish I would’ve worn them sooner. I have all sizes of clothes in my closet so I have put them away in quarantine until I decide if they’re really gonna go out the door. You know how you promised yourself you would never let your closet get that way again well I promise myself I would never gain this weight back. we’ll see. Thanks again for this great video I’m sure I’ll watch it again. Love in Christ.

💐 Hi Michelle, I really enjoyed this! The overwhelming work and decision making would be enough to make me go to the fridge immediately!!! Once I get actually started though, I’m ruthless, get disgusted with everything and make trips to the Goodwill! You did really good! It seems like the older I get, the more simple I Have to make everything. My nerves just freak out with too many of anything and anxiety attacks start. This last time we went to the desert, I almost couldn’t do it. Keeping up 2 houses is getting too overwhelming for me. I only want ONE house. My husband is so tied to this house because he’s lived here for 40 years. 😏. And to think when I worked as a full time housekeeper I kept up a house, a mansion, and a chateau in the mountains!!! I was also skinny then too😂. Your grandchildren are just so darling!! One look and you would give them anything! I will pray for you and yours, and I thank you for your prayers. ❤️ That is so funny about your husbands suit, but he is so handsome that evidently no one noticed! I was so horrified when you told of your cosmetology school experience that I could hardly concentrate on the rest of what you were saying!!! Someone needed to be taken out behind the woodshed!!! 😖. I was relieved to see that you have the right kind of hangers! It just really bothers me ( probably a little too much😊) when I see the other kinds, especially when they are all mixed colors and kinds. It just looks so chaotic. As far as keeping sentimental things from our children, I still think that the old classic book “Little Women” has the best solution. Each of the 4 girls had a trunk in the attic with their names on the trunk and anything through the years that was a keepsake. Of course now, it could be a large plastic bin in the garage, or a large flat bin that fits underneath a bed if you don’t have a garage or other place. It seems that the more you get into simplifying, the more you simplify because it makes your life so much easier (and you can watch a lot more KZfaq!!!). I hope you have an easier week and also recover from last week😊❤️🤗🌸👍

What a marathon! Great strategy breaking up the organizing of a 'high usage area'. I've done that myself, especially after we moved. I really like your idea of 'seasonal clearing/assessing' of that area as needs change how we operate there. Love the private office, wish I had room for one. Your music is almost toooo loud, voice tooo soft. I had to keep adjusting the sound up and down and it was almost too unpleasant to listen to. You did a GREAT JOB. Do you think your kids, grand children are going to want what's in the boxes. I say if they don't want it now, they won't want it later.
