Trinny can you show us the difference between the warm, neutral and cool colours especially the clean colour shades you are talking about as I honestly have no clue what a clean shade is Like usual i thoroughly enjoyed this just wish they were longer I could watch for hours I never knew a lip shade could change everything

You have made me buy color! You’re fearless, SO GOOD at it. I wish you would show other shoe choices fir those not on the white trainer band wagon. And also, much more work obviously but, put some links to similar items especially reasonably priced ones. Serena Butte is a little ‘up there’.

I admire anyone who wears bright colours together but it’s definitely not for me. Personally,I find softer tones and earthy shades far more chic and it’s all about confidence and feeling good in what you wear.Colour blocking is fun and joyful but only if it doesn’t clash with one’s personality.

Colour blocking is NOT limited to bright colours only and ANY personality can do it. As the video explains, the only rule is that the colours used share the same tonality or type as each other (neon to neons, pastels on pastels, dirty shades against dirty shades, jewel tones on jewel tones etc). The groups are better off not mixed up. There are examples of most groups in the actual video as well as brights. The only other rule is that the intensity/strength of the colours match each other.

Love Love Love. I am going through my closets and they look sad. But i first need to organize, then I will add some colour. Do you mix your winter and summer clothes together? I have tried keeping certain lines together but then I forget what I have. So for example I will have blazers in different colour because of the line or winter or summer. But I defiantly have to add colour.

Yes, I echo cathyannkailee re cool, warm, neutral, clean, dirty colours etc. I think I'm neutral with cool undertones but I really have no idea! Would love to see looks that really suit different skin tones (and undertones but again I don't really know a tone from an undertone - even when I look at my veins or hold up gold/silver to my skin). Men never seem to mind about any of this stuff but to me it's life or death (I exaggerate mildly)...

Color blocking fans, please go see Valentino's 2021 Fall/winter show from Venice posted on KZfaq a few days go! I saw similar combinations to these. Heaven. As to orange and fuchsia pink: perhaps they create special energy because, although they're close, they sit on either side of the cool/warm dividing line. Maybe a warm green plus peacock teal would have a similar effect. They're on the opposite side of the color wheel, also straddling the cool/warm line. Just a thought.
