I’d really like to see a charity shop challenge where Trinny shops for a look or maybe for a particular person in an actual Oxfam or BHF store or similar. Actually seeing her making choices from the massively varied racks and what she picks up and sets aside and what combos she puts together and why would be sooooo helpful for people who are struggling with the cost of living crisis right now. And it’s more sustainable. And it helps charities. So win, win, win.

Trinny only goes to posh charity shops that you wouldn’t afford anyway. The regular charity shops are full of New Look and M&S stuff that she doesn’t wear.

I ALWAYS learn so MUCH from you about color! I'm quite fortunate because my African American dark brown skin tone is the perfect backdrop for a host of colors! Great tips in this video. I also love the idea of second-hand September; this year I've been buying second-hand clothes so I'm curious what you'll come up with. Also dying clothes has been a great option for me this year. So I'm really excited you're embracing these two concepts as opposed to keep shopping for new items.

Even though it comes so easy for you to clearly identify colour hues and tones, I get stuck when I look at my own colours in my wardrobe and mostly go for colours next to each other. Loved this video way more than I thought I would; I adore Closet Confessions but was a touch wary of the colour clash, despite my wardrobe being “Junior Iris Apfel Wannabe”. For example, I am in love with the bright mid-yellow fluffy coat on the rack; très Big Bird from Sesame Street but glorious, nonetheless. The Miu Miu necklace looked amazing by the way. As Luther Vandross sang, it’s “never too much”… showing my age there! But my favourite tip was to use colour on your cheeks rather than risking a bright lip with a very bright outfit. Genius! Also, you have the prettiest colour eyes. Off to Trinny London now to do Match2Me to check my best colours. I did it when the brand first started but have yet to make a purchase due to being pretty much housebound after a car crash (and being broke!). But I’ve lost a decent chunk of weight and hope to start getting out more very soon, so I can justify a couple of bits of gorgeousness. Thank you both once again xx

What about a clothing swap with friends or colleagues? Like either borrow from each other’s closets, or they can bring items that are nice, but they are tired of or that no longer fit, and you can swap items amongst yourselves, but in a fun way. Oooh, also, Trinny could go through each colleague’s closet and put together a few head to toe looks for each!

Awesome as always, I always buy second hand and there’s a great final sale on Thrift+ at the moment, one of my fave charity shops . I’d like to see a sustainable post please as I am addicted to Stella McCartney.. that’s 95% of my wardrobe (second hand of course) but it’s a bit hit and miss on me so would love to know what other climate and animal conscious labels out there, thank you xx ps definitely putting my mum up for your make over show!

Just discovered this Trinny channel. An outstanding explanation of complimentary colors. When you call a color "dirty" are you referring to a warm tone or a duller version (value) of the same color?

The phrasing is confusing, but it helps to wear opposite colors with the same level of saturation (strong/clear vs. faded/muted) and warmth (warmer - redder or yellower vs. cooler- bluer)

Love your videos and I watch them religiously. However, I believe that whether you wear bold colors and patterns depends more on one’s personality. If you could give us some tips how to embrace the color, how not to feel weird when wearing color (after years spent in beiges), how not to feel “constantly watched by others” when wearing color, that would be useful. I fully understand that this isn’t your niche and extends the bounds of the channel, but a quick talk trough how you started experimenting with colors would be much appreciated. Thank you Trinny!

Please can you do a piece on how to style barrel leg trousers, especially what jackets/coats to wear with them, when you do your September wardrobe update. I've bought 2 pairs from COS and I love them. I can make them work with summer tops and trainers but am not sure how to take them into autumn. I know you will have the answer!
