Haggard Law Firm trial lawyer Todd Michaels closing argument in a recent medical malpractice trial in Broward County that resulted in a $24.5 Million verdict. Michaels and attorney Danny Harwin's client is the family of Lilia Torres who died in July 2015, following massive bleeding while giving birth.
The Courtroom View Network wrote about the closing "Arguing damages stemming solely from non-economic loss can be difficult: A jury has no hard set of numbers to use as a starting point in calculating an award, while surviving plaintiffs' ability to cope following an incident can be used as an argument to mitigate non-economic loss. However, in closings of a 2019 damages-only trial over the death of a Florida mother hours after childbirth, Todd Michaels secured an eight-figure win by upending a defense contention on non-economic loss."

When this Administration tells me I am not overdue millions of dollars for my Daughter being over drugged. I almost died. I had an illegal c- section based on personal feelings not connected to me. That is a lie.

Thank you. But please remember ..plaintiff's attorneys...which is what we are...do not charge our clients unless there is financial compensation awarded at the end of the case. There is no money up front of through the investigation and litigation of your case

Q1: Can *Negligence* (as a cause of action) be applied as the cause of Wrongful Death? (like the way Medical Malpractice can be the cause of a Wrongful Death) Q2: If so, can that "extend" the statute of limitations to cover/include Wrongful Death)? (i.e. - if a person sues for Negligence, which has a limitation of 3 years, can that window include Wrongful Death, which has a limitations of 2 years)?

I'm not sure who i contact for doctor emotions mentally physically drained. 4 yta of laying in this same spot on bed in unbearable pain I walked in the door office and 4 yrs later rolled out in wheelchair my left legs wasn't giving no nolld flow which cause me catch 4 blood clots I'm both lungs Here u sit no lt know when my time to go because the eu don't wanna listen u stuck in apon because they know I'm in bas bas pain but refuse pain meds Help. Imagine People and your Kids trying to get you to go off like you are not a good Mother not understanding that this is the technique of our enemies. A Mother so upset she wants to be to Herself because her enemies has told her Kids to betray her for helping them every time she could because a Doctor and his Nurses killed her Daughter.
