The 'Take care of Maya" case is a big deal. It takes a special kind of an attorney to take on these kinds of cases. And alot of money. Malpractice kills over 300,000 people a year. Its sad we as a country let this happen. Attorneys got us here and its going to take attorneys to fix it.

As the attorney said it’s all about the money. No money no service. So much for caring about others.

I have a hernia, I went to Providence Everett WA then to Harbour view in Seattle where I had a Liver specialist when this Hernia was the size of a quarter. Harbour view made what they referred to as a miscalculation that caused all the sergens I talked with to decline opportunities on me. Acouple of year's want by and the hernia got worse and larger before I was told what had happened in that time it did become a much higher risk I have tried and tried to get help until 4 days ago ago I ended up having a blockage and was told that one side of my stomach was layed wide open and little more than 50per. Chance of not bleeding out on the table. Not only did they kill me but it has been spread out over a few painful and hard years

My lawyer team is going after the 2 hospitals responsible, and also the doctors. The governing body over those 2 hospitals and doctors have had a very long list of lawsuits, and that body is being sued as well. The lawyer team is comprised of medical union attorneys and others within the state government. This is making the whole damn system responsible. TV, and news Channels have also been contacted and asked to shine light on these malpractice, negligence situations. Enough of this bull shit!

This leaves out the felony malpractice law: If the bad outcome is proximately caused by the comission of a felony, it is per se malpractice because a reasonable practirioner takes care to avoid knowingly or intentionally comitting, conspiring to committ, attempting to committ, or becoming an accessory to, any felony - where the exercise of prosecutorial discretion not to proceed with a criminal charge does not render conduct lawful.

I have had so many problems with Drs, however as a nurse, we must remember Drs are human too, mistakes and misdiagnoses can be made. We also must remember, Drs are not miracle workers, if you are broken, it doesn’t mean that it can be fixed, sometimes things can not be improved or fixed, it’s hard I know, and I’m sorry for all of those who have really come up against ignorant and incompetent drs - they are out there. Acceptance is sometimes the only answer! ❤

I needed a walker to leave and i was crawling around on my floor to get around. It was only a gallbladder operation. I still have a piece clipped in. I ended up getting pain in thst area the scan was done and it said one of my clips were loose. My doctor said nothing about it . I can hardly eat much at all ive vomited a lot of times .Id been in hospital once for an infected gallbladder they let me go home the next day . All they had to do was remove my gallstones. My life is not a life at all. From Australia

I was 24 weeks pregnant when I got a gall bladder attack . I had over 200 little stones and lost 18 kilos during my pregnancy and was told they couldn’t operate till I gave birth . I bought my baby till 39 weeks but I had at least 15 trips by ambulance while pregnant and put on a morphine drip while pregnant . I eventually had the op 4 weeks after I gave birth so my body recovered a little . I too have clips . I’ve had lots of pain in the upper right abdomen and they scan and say it’s fine . I wish you all the best . I’m from Australia as well . Good luck 🙂

At malpractice attorney says he sent this field because he has compassion for people. For the great majority of personal injury attorneys I have met, they have compassion for fattening their wallet more than anything else. I’ve definitely worked and met ethical attorneys, but those who care typically defend doctors. The overall great majority of malpractice cases are settled at less than $30,000 which is the threshold where the lawsuit does not become public information. It typically cost far more than that to go to trial so doctors are motivated to simply pay out less than $30,000 And this tends to save the insurance company a lot of money, not going to trial. The great majority of these cases have very little merit

So it has to make economic sense. I guess that is why I have been declined by several lawyers. With what I have been through, money is secondary. I guess you go for where it hurts more- the license. Time to fill up that medical board complaint form.

Summary: Malpractice lawsuits are only available to a small portion of our society. The AMA guidelines are arbitrary. You really don't have HIPAA rights if OCR doesn't enforce these laws. The thin RED line is real. The bias that completely corrupts the entire industry will ALWAYS put you the patient at fault. "We didn't do anything wrong, it was obviously the patients fault" ---every medical professional in 2024.

What if the doctor you were sent to by your employer gives you the wrong medication? made my injury worse and i went to see my own doctor and the first thing my doctor told me is to stop taking the medication they prescribed me because it was making it worse and not letting my injury heal. My doctor prescribed me new medication and made me feel better right away. This was a lil over 3 months ago.
