For anyone using this method on more complicated objects. You might wanna consider subdividing it a bit more and then applying a subdivision surface after then hand sculpt in extra details

Thank you! For better results, you have to add a subdivision modifier and, with a right click on the mouse, select shade smooth. You can watch this video of mine. I used this method in several cases kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mcdhjdqatteWoaM.html

Shift+A to add plane and sphere. Pressing S will enter the Scale transformation mode, where the selected element is scaled inward or outward according to the mouse pointer's location. G+Z to move the object up Right-click on the mouse to shade smooth TAB to go to edit mode.
