neat way of doing this. other videos didn't have a way to secure so we could use two full hands.

Nice to know how to make fabric twine. I have made twisted cords for years, double plus the desired length, twist, twist, twist, fold in half and watch the magic, knot the end. Sari silk works well.

sari silk would be amazing, I don't have any though. :-( But I do love my twisted cord! 💜💜💜

You are wielding that phone camera like a pro. The effort is appreciated. Love the cording. I have made twisted cord before--love using my scraps--and what a great idea to have the bucket of water for the fingers. Holding onto everything, it's so much faster if you can do that twist with your fingertips and my fingertips are rarely damp enough to do that without help. I'm not a huge fan of repeatedly licking my fingers! I keep my hands pretty clean but still... . I'll never twist cord again without water at my side. Thanks for sharing this. ❤

I wonder if a fringe twister or braid (for hair) twister would work?🤔 My hands are getting to that point of age where this stuff hurts.😂 I’ve made lots of these fabric twines before, I’ll give the twister a shot.

I guess I'll have to make another video showing you! You can make baskets or wrap gifts or wrap journals. Make a cord long enough to hang your reading glasses or a name tag if you use that sort of thing, around your neck... I've seen keys hanging from them too. I put a photo of a small fabric journal at the very end showing you mine. Just a fun way to use up scraps of fabric. Thanks for watching AND for asking!
