Okay before you comment anything stupid, because I have seen a lot of them so far... This is based off of a true story. Yes, about a real person. No, the plot is not unrealistic or unoriginal nor does it aim to glamorise cancer. Its clearly not *just* about his romantic relationship either so calm down with the judgement.

I remember watching a short documentary on Zach Sobiech (on SoulPancake), I didn't know much about him - not even the state he was from... but watching it and taking a brief glimpse into his life, brought so much warmth and joy! If you watch those videos, you'll be amazed at how carefree and happy he was in his last days. And his happiness radiated. Literally. It left me feeling so happy (and also heartbroken).

This looks really cool. Looks like it’ll show that someone with cancer still has a whole life OUTSIDE of having cancer. Having cancer does not define everything that someone is. It’s just one part of it.

Even though I didn't hear this song for years now, once in a while I find myself humming it on a walk or when I'm happy. It's a beautiful song with a beautiful story behind it. It seems to be a beautiful movie as well. Looking forward to watch it.

I really can't wait to watch this movie even though I know it's gonna make me cry. Alot. If there's one thing I could recommend to you, please watch the documentary about his life on youtube. The before and the sad after movie. In the first one, you'll find a music video made for him by movie stars, comedians and Jason Mraz. It was beautiful, I must say. Zach, hope you love what you see from the clouds. You made something so much big and beautiful.

although.. a walk to remember is not a 100% true story , it is based on the sister of the author.. and I'm talking about the impression of the novel, not the movie. Anyway, nothing based on true story movie is 100 % from true story, because it's gonna be too depressing for most audience. So, a mix with a little bit fiction / romance is very much welcome for me.
