This year, I’ve set my mind on finishing our patio. I want to DIY as much as I can and the first mammoth project is building a ✨grill station.✨ 14 hardware store trips and 67 hours of diy labour later, my biggest build is completed! Thank you, as always, for joining me on this journey. I still have a couple more DIYs for the patio and you’ll see the final patio reveal in a few weeks 💓

im so happy you included your mistake of using the wrong pieces and having to redo it. i have done this so many times and always get super bummed and its really encouraging to see the people who inspire me to build also go through it too!

Those are some beautiful tiles and knobs! I always have a soft spot for tiles that are slightly different coloured. And that wood stain colour is also perfection!

The tile adhesive needs to be thicker on the boards and it's always best to put tile adhesive onto the back of the tiles as well. But you did good, anyways.

Thank you for the tip! I realised I put too little adhesive because I had to use soooo much grout. Next time 🤗
