@@clutchandgearboxwolverhamp2097 it's OK, I know what you're doing with every movement. The bit that seemed the fastest to me was the driveshafts because you didn't mess about with the lower arm or track rod end, just undid the two big bolts

We do these daily on a while you wait service People travel from all parts of the country and abroad for our service...over the 12 years I've specialised in doing these vans I've got it down to a fine art...remove as little as possible and get her out 🤪😀

I do these day in day out and have been doing for the last 10 years.its just a perfected sequence This is why people travel from all over the country for clutch and gearbox repairs on these vehicles 1.9 nearly identical apart from the starter is at the rear and there is a cat support bracket that has to be removed 👍👍

@@clutchandgearboxwolverhamp2097 some nob (not me) turned the key with gearbox out when I had a bolt of the starter motor removed, so it jumped off the flywheel and rotated and made a big dent in the turbo return pipe (1.9). Hopefully it hasn't damaged all 3 things

@clutchandgearboxwolverhamp2097 can you help me out.... how do you bleed vivaros? In the past after changing the clutch master cylinder I used an eezibleed kit to bleed it from the header tank under pressure and undo bleed nipple, but this time i don't think it's worked that well because selecting 2nd gear is awkward. Do you back bleed it from the bleed nipple under pressure and push fluid up out of the header tank?

Pressure blead at 20psi....operated clutch pedal 15 times as quick as possible and then with pedal up open nipple...repeat at least 4 or 5 times...Will also help with engine running helps vibrate air to top of cylinder

can you get reverse and first ok if so it may be a hub / syncro fault with second

@roulettered56 does it go in easily with engine off?? Reverse and first gear faults are normally clutch related
