I live in Australia, started watching the Bill in 1993. Never missed an episode up to the last one in 2010. I also have all the books. Thank you for putting this these episodes on KZfaq. I now can catch up on them.

I also followed the characters and the acters and actresses. I absolutely loved the Bill and was really heartbroken when it ended.

It's terrific seeing the characters/actors as young people starting out in their careers. I've watched a few today and can't wait to watch the next episode. Oh this show was so good for a number of years, then they forgot the basic principle of only showing things from the coppers' viewpoint, got too involved with their private lives and we stopped watching.
