I left because i was pissed at the top 5 tens video. Just talked shit on 40 the whole time. Yet a while back he made a video "is the 40sw dead" he said no but in a weird way. I can find 40sw just as easy as 9mm here In idaho. Its only $2 extra so $13 for ea box of 50. People talk on recoil but everywhere I look people cant control 45 yet I can better then 40. I cant use 9mm either its kick and recoil is unexplainable its just too weird, even if i could handle it the best I wouldnt use it because I don't trust 9mm at all I just dont like it I dont think it can do a good job for me but hey thats my opinion, everything about guns is preference not training or brand etc.

@@gunsodin5299 Your answer to your problem. HK P30 v3 in .40, USP, HK VP40 or if you have the $$ MK23 SOCOM in of course 45. HK's .40's shoot with the recoil of a .380 due to the Patented recoil reduction system. You can never or should you try to change the minds of the 9mm shooters because people should shoot what they have found they shoot the best and safest thank you very much! Ask any SOF operator and they will tell you after 911, they are either running a HK USP in 40 or 45 because the 9mm just doesn't change behavior or put them in the ground fast enough. Too bad most military infantry are only allowed to carry a 9mm even though it's a Sig, which I do like a lot but end of the day... it's still a 9mm which is really = to a +P .380

Absolutely!! Higher energy than both the 9mm luger and .45 ACP. Plus, fairly high muzzle velocity, and good mag capacity (it's my personal favorite pistol caliber).

I happen to really like my .40. Faster than .45 (sorry), more rounds, easily AS fast as 9mm, with more mass, damn near as many rounds, HOW can anyone not recognize the value of the .40? I have several. Love that round. OnceUponATime, I was a "if it ain't .45 I don't care" sort. As a Military Weapons Instructor! But the more I looked and weighed, the more sense the .40 made. Full Honk 10? Money? Value for cost? .40 is just fine, thank you.

Hey, whatever suits your fancy. I think on paper, 9mm makes the most sense, but that doesn't mean it's the best for everyone.

How you think of the value over cost with 10 over .40 is the same way most people feel about .40 vs 9mm. I used to own a 40 but I sold it and now I own just about every pistol cartridge but .40 maybe one day I'll get another one

@@kylebradley3 LOL!!! But on that note, which is cheaper to feed? Ballistics on .40 are quite good, MAYBE not full honk 10, but how many people can control said full honk 10? Especially when SHTF? Practice is ultimately good, but your wallet may well have some control of that. As it is, I have some who say the .40 is too "snappy" for them. I have this PM40 Kahr, and I'm quite happy with it as a carry tool.

I've joined the Dark Side over a year ago with my very first pistol purchase. An Great Condition "Police Trade In" Sig Sauer Model P226R in .40S&W that can send 12 rounds of 180 grains full of pure aggression down range! Came with two mags in a nice red box. Ordered two more new factory magazines. Shoot a little bit high, but hasn't failed me. Just like McDonald's, I'm lovin' it!

As a person who likes to suppress my guns, I love the .40 and .45 pcc. .40 is a great caliber to suppress imo. Cheap readily available subsonic ammunition is a huge reason for that. Almost all 180 gr ammunition is going to be subsonic (with pistol length barrels).

Love my banshee 9mm in snow white. Absolutely dead on shooter. Even played a little at 100yds. U can pretty much guarantee a smile when u grip this gun!

I've shot .40 since I was 14, I'm so used to it , even the sig p232 in .380 feels weird to shoot. I trust and love the round, runner up being .357 sig also very comfortable to shoot.

I've been a fan of the .40 cal since the 90's. Still carry one today. I have nothing against a 9mm, but I like my .40 just fine. As a side note, all the .40 cal pistols I ever shot including my own seem to be most accurate with mid weight bullets in the 155 to 165 grain range. Don't ask me why, I'm no ballistics expert, but my .40's love 155 gr pills. I've tried the light 135's and the heavy 180's and they shoot okay but the mid weight bullets shoot like laser beams.

Thanks for reviewing the .40 cal Banshee for us "dark side" guys. When and if you can, I'd love to see you review the .40 cal Banshee with the 8" barrel. I'm strongly leaning towards that configuration, but have yet to find many KZfaq videos featuring that particular model. Thanks in advance!

I’ve built 40S&W blow backs on AR-9 receivers. They are super fun and reliable. I heard they were coming out with this rotary bolt lock up and I gotta have one. Already put one on backorder in the 8 inch. I don’t get people that poo poo the 40. They haven’t had the experience with them probably. 180gr ammo suppresses well. Glock makes very reliable mags for them. And 40 Ammo has gotten very affordable in the past few years.

I have the Banshee in 9mm midnight Bronze. Great little shooter and waiting on my Silencerpro Omega 9K to get out of jail to complete the gun. Can’t go wrong with those CMMGs. A little pricey but nice!

I have a .40 ar that I built with a 16" barrel. let me tell you, that round out of a long barrel is NASTY. seems like you don't gain a ton of velocity with the 10mm and 45, but the 9 and 40 performance improves measurably. love that rife.

Awsome review. Love the 40 s&w it's a great caliber. With hard hitting bullet. Got ruger sr40c I carry daily. Or I carry small 380acp if I need deep carry. Cmmg got 350 legend barrels and mags in stock. For the new round that Winchester is makeing. Hopefully u can get your hands on some ammo and a gun

Thats what all the 9mm fan boys say lol. Our service pistol in the navy was the beretta m9 and i hated it! So when i got out i still used a 9mm for home defense. But realized why? I got a Glock 22 with a 19 round mag now lol...and couldn't be happier knowing i can protect my family with a 40 cal

I have a 40 cal Kel- Tec fold up carbine. It smokes!! great little gun. H&K vp40 too , also a steel frame Glock long slide-yes it shoots like a 22 in recoil (almost)- a real set of cannons.I will take a 40 for real trouble any day

I was wondering if you could do a vid with the sub2000 gen 2 playing around with suppressing and such I was looking into buying one to go with my new glock 19 which I bought cause of all of y'alls praise for my first handgun and I love it so thanks for the recommendations. Could you also do some testing on the bigger glock 9mm magazines I keep seeing mixed reviews on the sgm tactical mags, and the ets mags and pretty much all but the expensive factory ones and the always reliable magpul

Very cool man! I would like to see an original Winchester 1876 in .45-60 with handloaded ammo. Light up watermellons and other objects with it, push it out beyond 100yds etc. Also would love to see the Swiss Schmidt Rubin 1889 7.5x53.5mm pushed out to the 600yd range like you did with the K-31!!! Pretty please for these!

I want it . Noticed it really hits them steel targets really hard . Will you aver put the 9mm up against the 40 as a comparison? I just want to see the steel get hit by both rounds using the Banshee Platform. Also compare the two against each other at distances of 25 50 and 100 yards .

Hey, years ago I walked into a store to by a sig 229 elite in 9mm. Well the whole store had a sale and the were out of 9 but one 40. Ben carrying it since. 165 gr gold dot Underwood then for woods carry 200gr nosler also Underwood. Only complaint 229 took around 450 rounds to break in. So stiff that I was having failure with any ammo, then by 450rd I haven't had one since.

That's a good looking little shooter. I like the two-tone finish. I still think these would make more practical sense with a few inches longer barrel to gain a bit more out of the round than a regular handgun. With a telescopic can the overall length would be more or less the same. Something like that in 10mm would make an awesome short range deer gun or a pork slayer.

@Iraqveteran8888 If you can get your mitts on a Beretta 92X I'd love to see a review on that. .40 S&W is a solid round. I have a Beretta 92S with a 96G side/barrel and a S&W M&P Shield that I purchased in 9mm. I saw a deal on Gun Broker for a 40 cal slide/barrel and purchased that. I can shoot both calibers out of both pistols. Variety is the spice of life :) Love your vids guys. Keep it up!

Ranger T is different than black talon in that it expands more = less penetration, which I like being that body’s are different than gel

That 40 cal performance in a longer barrel is exactly why I got a Sub 2K in 40 cal. I wanna know where you got that ammo at for that price? But as a heads-up, I ain't driving to Georgia for it, even though I love Georgia (did some training at GPSTC, Forsyth). If you give me your price, I'll meet you in Tennessee. :) Thanks for the video. I saw the last shot bolt hold open does not work all the time, is that a mag thing? Did it get more reliable as you shot it or worse? Want to buy one of these but the bolt thing is important to me. Thanks for sharing the video.
