ordered my service grade a couple weeks ago, can't wait!. In thinking of buying a schuster gas plug for 30 bucks instead of buying surplus ammo.

Nice review. Just ordered a service grade, but there's a lot to be said for original stock and what-not. The wood has character and tells a story.

You need to reload brother! Slash that $18-$24 per box down to about $7-$8.

I looked into. Relaoding its cheaper to buy ppu garand ammo then it is to reload

@@missouripatriot6926I load 30-06 for about $5.75 a box. Buying bulk 1,000 count Hornady bullets. That's 1/3 the price of PPU, even buying it by the case. How do you figure?

Because if I buy everything from midway USA 200 brass cases 2lbs of powder 200 bullets and 1000 primers it would be 175$to make 200 rounds and have a small amount of powder left and good amount of primers left ppu ammo 200 rounds is 164$ with shipping

@@missouripatriot6926Factoring the cost of new brass isn't the best way to weigh cost. Firstly, you are going to get multiple loads from that brass, it's not one time use. No offense, but If you are buying all that stuff at Midway you are going to get boned, for sure. 30-06 brass is plentiful. You can get once fired brass for 1/4th the cost of new. Powder and primers should be bought in bulk from a good supplier, like Powder Valley or Graffs. I pay around $32 per K for CCI and $23-$24 per lb of powder. That's out the door, shipping, hazmat, everything. You first load will be less cost effective, buying dies, brass, ect, but after that you really save a lot of cash. Then you can get into bullet casting. My 30-06 cast loads cost me less than $5 a box.

Honestly, I’ve looked at all of them and I personally would want to get a field grade because I feel like it looks much better than one with newer parts. But this is the one rifle I want and am gonna get eventually

nice vid. i'm looking into buying one soon. i suggest tucking in that chicken wing when you shoot though.

The Wingmen You're not loading it right either. You're doing it backwards with the wrong hand. Insert the clip with the RIGHT hand, pushing down the top round with your thumb while holding back the charging handle/bolt handle with the thick of your hand. When you release, snap your hand up as if you're saluting that rifle, then hit it again for forward assist.
