I had already purchased the book, and stumbled across your video. I think your project turned out nice. I also enjoyed your realist demonstration of Kumiko. I have made my own block jigs and wanting to build an Andon (lamp) with kumiko panels. Thanks for a great demonstration.

It‘s coming! I put the fret marker dots in the other day. I have to install the frets and attach the neck and then hopefully at that point I‘ll have enough for the next video. Thanks for checking in!

This looks repetitious and tedious. It’s interesting to see you invent this jigs, but I suspect that if you eventually cut grooved flat panel jigs to precisely position the pieces for assembly then this craft will become a chore. It’s unlike anything in your prior videos.
