OPEN FIRE SERGEANT!” Edit: On a serious note, could you briefly flash up the mission briefing on screen during the beginning of the video in the future? It would be cool to be able to pause the video and read the campaign briefings included in-game.

S-4: "Sir we finally have the ammo consumption list from Col. BlueBallz, but all he put in section 1 for 5.56 was 'A shit load' below that for Mark 19 'A Metric fuck ton'. Side note, I don't know how long it took him to do this but that was the most beautiful execution of this mission I've ever seen. Nothin' fancy just good movement and enough suppression that the air turned 90% lead.

4:30 Weird to see that mosque still has its main minaret. I wonder if the mission designer was expecting the player to clear 100% of the map, especially since there were still those few Syrians still alive.

I think it's meant to represent the Syrians falling back after getting hammered in the initial recon mission. I think that there is an objective to kill their commanders or something similar in the last mission. Edit: Disregard, I thought you meant 100% of the map in the last mission.

Always looking forward to your videos. I learn a lot of strategy. Do you usually use general or anti personnel artillery rounds? And are you playing turn based or real time?

Thanks for watching man. Most often, I use anti-personnel, unless its a structure. I play turn-based, I do enjoy real-time though, it's just not conducive to making videos.

I did almost as well on this mission but I didn’t trust the city not to contain hidden RPG teams so I dismounted in the prep phase and pushed my rifle squads up on foot and never remounted them. I managed to lose a few Marines and two AAVs to lucky RPG shots as well. I’m not sure what you have to do to get that enemy casualties objective since I only left 6 Syrians standing.

excellent work as always quick question - is there a reason you dont split your squads into their individual fireteams most of the time? i found it very useful to split into teams since you can use better spacing in trenches, buildings and open fields whereas when giving orders to full squads they tend to bunch up a lot additionally if you manouver an element into a bad position, its easier to disengage a single fireteam (using supporting fires from the rest of the squad) than having to deal with a full squad stuck in a killzone i get thats its more pieces you have to control, but from my experince it is worth it - what do you guys think?

Depends on the situation. If I'm using a company, I tend to issue orders by platoon, if using a platoon, I issue them at the squad level, that is, until I see the need to break them down further. Maybe some would argue that it is always warranted to split elements down to the lowest level possible, but I would prob disagree. It's situational really. Sometimes it is absolutely justified, other times, it's just extra work.

Whats your mil background? My guess would be army cav or infantry PL or PSG.

If you ain't Cav, you ain't shit! 82nd (great unit) and then 10th Mtn (not so great unit) The majority of my time was as a section leader, although, I have worn many different hats.
