This anchor should pronounce the names properly. It’s “Vishwanathan Anand” . She is talking about world champions. She should know better . North Indians has this decease when it comes to south names .

Harsha Bhogle was raised in Hyderabad. We, South Indians, also have problems pronouncing North Indian names. E.g: Modi. But in this case, it is pure ignorance from the anchor

I was awake the whole night and was rooting for Gukesh. Ian and Fabi match was a real nail biting one. Fabi had a clear advantage and he could have won the match and the candidates winner could have been gone to the tie breaks. But somehow Ian survived and manages a DRAW against Fabi. And Hence, Gukesh WON.

He thanked him in many interviews taken today but see he can't thank on every single interview and these interviews were taken at midnight in Toronto after a stressful game and a stressful day so he is obviously sleep deprived

You know chess is an individual game. No matter how many people coach him or how many fellow Indian players play alongside him, he is on his own out there. He had stated how Anand sir is his role model many times. Let him have his moment without getting butt hurt by everything. He didn't thanked his parents either. He played for more than 5 hours and didn't. even rest properly for 30 mins before doing bunch of interviews.
