🤥😡🙄🙄🙄🙄 Noble person ?? She was a jealous, hateful and greedy woman. She was jealous of her sisters especially Asha Bhosle. Lata was jealous that she could not sing modern songs like Asha can whereas Asha could could sing sexy as well traditional both type of songs. They did NOT get along well. But did not show that tovthe wolrd and kept faking in front of public. Lata crushed any other lady singer who sang well. Suman kalyanpur was one of them. She didn't have any family any children still was so greedy, once Lata asked all film producers to give a percentage of their film's income to her and she wanted all singers to demand the same from producers to make her decision strong. But the Real great soul Punjabi singer Mohammed Rafi Sahab denied saying he's happy in whatever he's getting paid. Even though he had a big family to feed but he was not greedy, he was a shreef rabb se darne wala banda. And this woman jiske na koi aage na koi peeche, producers ko aur lutna chaahti thi. You know what this hateful greedy woman did? She stopped working with Rafi Saahab and asked all producers if they want her don't sign Rafi And Rafi saahab had to suffer financial loss because of her. All great ppl are not celebrated only EVIL do. Selfish, Gunde are praised and celebrated. So, just remember if some person is being praised too much meaning that person is ACTUALLY very Dark. @@euphoria156 is mei se kuch baat sahi hai aur kuch ghalat. Asha bhossle also suffered coz nobody wanted to hire her a singer coz lata was number one and so did rafi Saab. But she didn't let anybody come forward her neither gave favour to any female singer. This is also reality that nobody wanted to hire other than lata for their playback singer in movies. Her Memory is too sharp. She had each and every story in her mind with miniscule details. Name of person who contributed in her early days of struggle. Name of place like studio stage cities. And no wonder she also remember each and every word of her songs. I had seen her interview with one of interviewr from Pakistan and she told there in detai about many things. And i am very fortunate that out of 27 years of my life she is about 20 years in my life. And amazing thing is that i had 2800 song of her in my memory chip of Nokia 110 and all are downloaded from internet. I still remember i put 60-70 songs in line for downloading. For that i purchased many sim cards which also provide one gb free data,when i was in my sixteen and seventeen. Lata ji will remain forever in our heart. God bless her soul.

The departure of Lata Mangeshkar from us has left an unfillable gap. She has been one of the truly greatest singers the subcontinent has known. Her voice will continue touching the soul of every music lover of this subcontinent and across the world. She was a legendary singer, humble person, what a precious soul.

An interview is known by the subject of interview- in this case Lataji.Everyone knows about Lataji.She is an institution by herself. But I think for the first time it gave me a chance to discover the quality of the interviewer. I think Javedji is quite evolved person. I can see the depth in his questions. He deserves ever bit of his reputation as one-of-a-kind writer.

Who underestimated her? I don't remember anyone has ever tried to estimate her. Also, at least don't put "h" in her name. She is "Lata" NOT "Latha". I respect that in southern india it is a practice to put "h" after "t". But, at the least keep the name same.

Sometimes in life a rare and unique phenomenon is created and its mold broken, never to be repeated. We were fortunate to have had Lataji as one of these rare phenomena. Legendary and never to be repeated. The musical world has lost one of its foremost proponents.

Lata was jealous that she could not sing modern songs like Asha can whereas Asha could could sing sexy as well traditional both type of songs. They did NOT get along well. But did not show that tovthe wolrd and kept faking in front of public. Lata crushed any other lady singer who sang well. Suman kalyanpur was one of them. She didn't have any family any children still was so greedy, once Lata asked all film producers to give a percentage of their film's income to her and she wanted all singers to demand the same from producers to make her decision strong. But the Real great soul Punjabi singer Mohammed Rafi Sahab denied saying he's happy in whatever he's getting paid. Even though he had a big family to feed but he was not greedy, he was a shreef rabb se darne wala banda. And this woman jiske na koi aage na koi peeche, producers ko aur lutna chaahti thi. You know what this hateful greedy woman did? She stopped working with Rafi Saahab and asked all producers if they want her don't sign Rafi And Rafi saahab had to suffer financial loss because of her. All great ppl are not celebrated only EVIL do. Selfish, Gunde are praised and celebrated. So, just remember if some person is being praised too much meaning that person is ACTUALLY very Dark. Itna paisa khoon peeke logon ka (greed of money and power) kmaao aur phir marte hue APNA NAAM BRA karne ke liye(again greed, of name fame) daan kardo. 🙄🙄

The world's greatest ever singer of all time the world will never ever have such a singer in 5000 years perhaps till this world lasts unless Lata herself is born again on this earth, but that will never happen because God will never let her out of HIS Divine sight again. Put every singer since the beginning of time on one side and put Lata on the other and you will find out that all of them are not even 1/10 of her put together

OMG, her memory was extraordinary. She remembered every thing so nicely. She was a chandelier of Indian cinema. Her scintilating career for 40 years was something out of the ordinary. We are fortunate and lucky that we have listened to her for 4 decades. The melodious era is gone. Will never come back. Who can replace her?
