Britain's King Charles has started treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer and has
postponed all public-facing duties. Amid the shock announcement, an astonishing prediction made by 16th-century French astrologer Nostradamus has resurfaced. Nostradamus did not specify the year or decade so this seems quite likely to have been a correct prediction. He said one would become king who did not expect it and that was also correct. His brother had to take over as king. I don’t think this prediction had anythin* to do with Charles.

Cancer can be in your body growing before you have any symptoms, that is how my daughter died, she had cervical cancer, it was at stage 4 before she had any signs that something was wrong. She passed away 3 months after her diagnosis.

In the first place neither Charles or heir by birth right. Their uncle is the rightful heir. Queen was the daughter of the spare. Let's not forget. Also, the prophesy states this person is was the most unlikely person to become King. Harry has never wanted to be King that is why he walked away. However, it is is to save the Monarch for his nephew and niece ( George and Charlotte) I am sure he would step in until they are adults. Charles is not going to live forever and if William have committed something sinister to Kate we will not become King. That prediction has already come to pass. Edward the 8th was made to abdicate as he would not give up Wallis Simpson. He was told the Kingdom or the divorced American. His brother was not made to be King, he stuttered and was very shy. The only reason he was able too was because he had a strong wife, who we know as the Queen mother.

Harry is currently 5th in line to the British throne -- something drastic would have to happen to the other 4 in order for him to take the crown. And, in the unlikely event, I think his reign would be very brief (if at all) becase nobody in the UK even wants him in the country, let alone on the throne of England. I feel like this prediction is more in line with the Duke of Windsor’s abdication to marry Wallis Simpson. His brother, King George, was never meant to be king and became king at the time.

WRONG! Nostradamus talked about FRANCE! Napoleon came from an Isle too, Corsica! The King abdicated and Napoleon without any royal lignage became Emperor after french revolution.

Princess Diana said that she would never become queen but also that Charles would not be king. He is king but some worry that it may not be for long. I hope that they are all not right. He is a thoughtful king.

This already happened. Remember… Queen Elizabeth was never suppose to be.. it’s because her uncle abdicated. Which made her father King and some believe that is something he never wanted. Then his early death. The Harry thing, is reaching. He dropped in the line of succession when his niece and nephews were born.

King Charles I had his head removed and was replaced by Oliver Cromwell, a statesman. Charles I ascended to the throne 50 years after Nostradamus died.

Stranger things have happened, but let the poor King get on and get better. Cancer doesn't always mean your life is over. I hope after waiting this long, "Mummy" will watch over him and let him live a long and prosperous reign. Though his illness may have been what was making him short tempered during the change over, that I can fully understand.

Well, Nostradamus was extremely ambiguous at best. There was an abdication, in 1936 when Edward VIII was forced to resign, and one who wasn't equipped to take over managed to do a great job, particularly through the war years, and passing away all too young. People are reading too much into his writings, I've read his stuff for many years now,and its strange how you can make the predictions fit AFTER the event.
