This is a great question, and I'll give you some insight on who's been successful with me and why. I'll let you know what baits have the most success in the back of the boat. You only have limited amounts of tackle so let's bring the thing you need and leave the rest at home.

Howdy bro. Telling secrets is a bunch of crap!!! I practice with a boater and I have been in tournaments when my boater draw had no idea what to do or where to go. Not once did I ever give up another boaters stuff. I would rather zero than blow my friends or other boaters hard work. That being said, I’ve out fished those guys in most cases. Peace and God Bless bro.

That information was just as good if not better than your lure or technique videos. Those are questions I never thought to ask or have been asked. Keep dropping the knowledge. Awesome channel

I fished in the past as coangler and my 2 cents is shake hands with the boater don't ask questions before the tournament and always hand the boater gas money $50 will usually make most happy and that usually breaks the ice and the boater will usually offer the info you need. If not you will know when you get to the spot, be prepared.

Good stuff Todd. I'd love to see a video about hitting a new lake, or a lake you barely know!

Good stuff again Todd. I am sure being a co-angler in a tourney would be really difficult. You confirmed what I would have rigged for the most part... Carolina, Shaky head, spinnerbait, jig, drop shot/wacky rig. That is about what I would throw anyway unless they are on a crankbait bite. Look forward to hearing what you have to say about a co with the boater using FFS. I am going to guess that will depend on where and how he is catching them.

I fished as a co in a BFL when I was a kid and my boater told me bring all the deep cranks you got and pack light because we got a long run. He flipped all day and won. All I had was deep cranks ha

Not sure if you’ve made a video on it yet, but can you possibly make a video regarding the new gravel dawg? Thanks!

As usual excellent content. I know it's not your job to get them a limit but your advice will help them get some on their own. Love the outlook

Great video Todd. I agree with you, I’ve only been a co angler once and I didn’t ask the right question. I fish a lot faster than he did but I guess you could say the water we covered was covered well. I was fishing a swim jig behind him and caught a few fish he got kinda aggravated. Needless to say I’ve not been a co angler since. I hear you talking about sight fishing a lot. That’s something I just don’t have much success with. You ever want to do a guide trip and sight fish sign me up. I love watching fish in the water just can’t seem to catch them very often. Thanks for all you help over the years.

Todd your spot on with the advice when confronted with a boater sight fishing, I just wish I would have had that advice 20years ago when I was fishing the All-American, I might have done a little better.😀

I fish my on game. I fished with my dad from the back deck. I enjoy fishing as a co angler. Toyota championship day 3 sucked but I had a great time.
