Coach Carter is my movie man along with Save the last dance and Light it up. One of the most amazing high school basketball movies ever made. Ashanti character was so annoying and so were the boy’s parents. Samuel Jackson was amazing. So many cool young actors in the film playing the boys. The only parent that was smart enough to give the coach respect was Octavia Spencer.

Welcome back. This is one of the greatest basketball movies of all time. Here are some fun facts: Samuel L. Jackson & Debbi Morgan the actress who played Coach Carter's wife were also in Eve's Bayou. Samuel L. Jackson & Antwone Tanner who played Worm were also in 187. Here's a sad fact: There are pictures on the internet of Ty Crane played by Sidney Faison selling pictures of him & Samuel L. Jackson. Apparently Sidney has fallen on hard times.
