I can get to mid 2:19 in quali setup, race average 2:22. I just can’t see how these guys get into 2:16s

I fully understand your struggle. Yet you can get there but you lack the skill for now, keep doing it, you will be faster over time

Setup looks the most restrictive thing but overriding issue is he is turning the wheel too much going in to understeer in tighter corners. The transition should be to slow a bit more in to the corner and power down earlier or use the accelerator to turn the car more, turning the wheel past what the front tyres can take will only slow you down. On a personal note, I get the providing tips but coaching really is when you're esport level.

Disagree on the coaching part. Just like driving coaching can and is done toward all levels of driving by all levels of coaches. If there is to much of a gap between coach and student there are chances of student not understanding and getting reluctant to go on, even tough they might love what they do. As long if someone is better at the skill or has more understanding of the subject they can coach others on how to improve.

@@nocompromesso I would worry it might encourage things which aren't right. Firstly it would be best to start on the same setup and see how he handles the car, ideally you should have the best setup and be able to explain why. Then watch his driving for fundamental mistakes like turning the wheel too much. I appreciate watching his lines but that not coaching, that's just a track guide as it won't help on another track.

I actually did drive the same setup in the video so maybe i wasnt clear about this. This i the first time to help sombody so it isnt going to be perfect and it will never be. Thanx for the feedback anyways

Arnout is providing coaching to those that ask and as of yet he isn’t getting paid to do so. Sure it could be for likes and followers but that will grow his community. Esports level coaching can be pricey and is more focussed towards the racer who about to push to that level…as I see it Arnout is here for the ‘rookies’ among us and any and all free help is greatly appreciated!

Side note Arnout in regards to youto your ‘pay for’ setups…will your supporters (myself being one) get access to any of those without an added cost? Not that I feel we should have unlimited access! Just tossing that out there! ;-)
