In this video Glenn heads for Cobaw and Lerderderg state forests with Steve, while the girls go shopping. We follow two tracks out of the "4WD treks close to Melbourne" guide. Starting in Lancefield we head to Kyneton through Cobaw, and then over to Lerderderg to drive part of the Amblers Lane trip. Plenty of mud and winching in this one.

Brent, really glad you liked it. We thought this was actually one of our better videos, production quality wise anyway.

Great video. Now I’m glad we took it easy when we went to Cobaw. Haven’t got the ground clearance for those tracks (yet).

@@Wheretonow4x4 yeah we’re in a Pajero that needs a lift kit. We only did one good track while we were there. Took the safe option and turned around for the others.😄

@@Wheretonow4x4 thanks mate. I’d be happy to tackle those tracks if it was dry. Might have to wait for the next drought. 😆

The Paj is a petty capable vehicle - we've seen plenty of them on club trips. As you know, factory clearance is the problem. If you're looking for other tracks that are great drives, that the Paj will easily handle, check out our videos of: Snowy river national park Return to the victorian high country - bluerag range track Manfield to craigs hut You'll drive most of these without too much trouble. Might be a few bumps on the run from Pineapple flat to Craigs hut, but nothing worse than what you drove in Cobaw. There's also lots of really nice driving in the Grampians - some nice stuff near halls gap, but most of the really nice driving is away from the more touristy spots. I'd probably avoid Launders track - we have two videos of that. watch the second one, the first one is pretty average. Safe travels.
