The eel and torpedo need to switch flippers torpedos look like they go to the eel and the eel looks like it goes to torpedo.

I'm not often surprised by deliveries because I keep a close eye on my preorders and credit card transactions, but when my two Eels arrived from Amazon this past Saturday I was VERY (and happily) surprised. These figures are awesome! Love the army builder + underwater aspect of them, I already took some "under the sea" pics of them for Instagram with various sea creatures from my collection. It's nice to have a good toy surprise every once in a while

I am right there with you about not liking the underwater figures too much but these Cobra Eels are nice and Inhad to display the 5 that I got different ways with and without the masks and different weapons. If they do this good of a job on these figures I am sure Wet-Suit will look even better but let’s hope they give him an additional head sculpt or removeable mask.

Got my Eels yesterday. While there is a lot of mold reuse I think it was done in an excellent way that creates two distinct figures between Torpedo and the Eel. I’m not bothered by things like the knife, air tanks, flippers and even the wetsuit being the same since that’s possible in real life.

Pre-ordered mine, he looks so cool. It’ll go well with Torpedo and the other Joes. Maybe we’ll get a 6 in Deep Six or a Cobra Hydro Viper in the future.

the eels, other than being hard to get, are just too similar to torpedo for the pick up. hopefully some more aquatics come down the line next year. im with you on wet suit; he had a fun vibe with the lighter colors and big orange helmet.

Was one of the lucky ones and got 2. Was stunned arrived already too. Haven't opened them up yet. A few things ahead of them. Really impressed. I wonder if a Cobra Diver will get made. Then a Baroness variant in her wet suit.

The holes on the bottom of the backpack are for blast effects, because the Eel's backpack is also a propulsion system.

@@KylePeterson1980 I don't think they've made backpack effects, yet. We have some coming with the Steel Corps two pack. Those will probably fit. Or, since it's supposed to work underwater, maybe they'll make some underwater propulsion effects?

It was weird. I managed to pre-order this on Pulse and on Amazon. Amazon sent me an email saying it was shipping early. I got it, but started seeing comments where people got the same email I got, but Amazon DID NOT send it. Instead, sent them all an email saying it would be delayed. Weird. Why would Amazon ship only a few out early? My thought process is, they didn't want the boxes taking up warehouse space until Sept and shipped what they had. Although, that doesn't explain why people who were notified didn't get the figure.

The funny thing is the Eels wouldn't show up for another two years as compared to the episode from the M.A.S.S. device mini-series. I actually missed the Eels completely, so that sucks...

See and gi Joe figures are selling for less on the shelf than marvel legends accessories and all and people are paying at least six bucks more for marvel.
