100% correct. Initially I avoided CK as I feared the worst of a classic being raped and fucked by Hollywood with it's corpse left in the sun to rot after they make their quick money. I'm still not over star wars ep 8 but I was so wrong about this. Just spent yesterday binge watching both seasons. This is EXACTLY how to resurrect a classic or create a sequel.

Season 2 was a downgrade. Too much melodrama, too much lame teen romance. Started to feel like a Disney-esque teen flick at times.

Euphoric Atheist They probably were surprised at how many new young fans it had got so they tried to please the younger generation with season 2.They need to get back to the level of season 1 and go beyond.I know it's sort of about the new generation doing karate but the series really is about Johnny and his redemption and new journey in life and the writers shouldn't forget it

Great job cast and crew. Didn't think anything would come close to Season 1, wow was I wrong. There are some of the best episodes of TV ever this season. The callback episode w original Cobra Kai crew was certainly one highlight. Cannot wait for Season 3, and please Elizabeth Shue come back for this next one!!

That's pshycological. World does not need Karate. World is moving foreward now, speacially in the West within educated intelligent people. We put our energy into something more liberating, something that gives u a different thrill, like sports, businesses, careers, excercise etc. that is more impactive and more constructive in life, shows ur pshycology is not about voilence, about hurt, revenge, fear of attack etc we dont want to live in a world where people can think like this, it changes ur mind and kind of keeps u behind in life as u lose focus on educational material.

Idk what the hype is about with GoT. Spent 6 hours of my life watching most of season 1 and NOTHING HAPPENED. Zip, nudda, nothing. 6 hours of my life I will never get back. Most boring show I have ever seen in my life and I have watched test cricket lol. Just a bunch of nudity, incest and talking with nothing actually happening. You're right this is more enjoyable than GoT.

So rare to have a story continued, or told again successfully. 99% of the time, no respect and epic fail. You're the lucky 1%, showing well deserved respect and heart. I was shocked at how much I love this show! First, you'd normally take the side of LaRusso if you saw the original movie but this time around, I am Team Cobra Kai ! I love William's (Johnny) character, he is upfront & funny just like I remember in the 80s, we were actually all like that. The music is freaking amazing too ! I miss the 80's so much & this show really brings me back!

Ralph has always been the oldest. With the exception of Patrick Swayze, he was the oldest of the rest of the gang in The Outsiders. He is even older than the Thomas Ian Griffith (Terry Silver).

It's great to hear and see these actors talk about the roles they played. Sometimes we see an actor in a certain role and think they ARE that type of person, in real life. It may be, that they share a common similarity with the role they are playing. It's important to know, that these actors we see, are acting parts that they identify with, it is not all about WHO they are, as people. It's great to see and hear all these view from the casts.

When I was 7 years old and it's 1992 it's the first time I saw the movie karate kid. When I saw Ralph macchio I fell in love with him till now. Everytime I saw him I wish and pray that we could meet one day I want to hug him

I honestly wonder if How I Met Your Mother played a role in bringing about the awesomeness that is Cobra Kai. Both William Zabka and Ralph Macchio guest starred a handful of times in that show and Barney was always rooting for Johnny or, according to him, the 'real' karate kid.

I supporting Myiagi-do for sure. Johnny has changed a lot in this new version of KK. Daniel seems to be childish , but still my favorite, I am sure he will remember everything Myiagi taught about real karate. And he will teach the real karate's mission.
