I agree too! It’d be so fun! I took martial arts for a bit over 12 years and it has become part of my life from that point onward. Would love to see how they go about their training and just getting to do such a show about that with all of them would just be a dream come true, wouldn’t even feel like working lol

It makes you wonder why he didn't have so many more roles after Karate Kid. Hollywood casting makes no sense - so many of us were so happy to see Johnny again!! I hope this finally opens more doors for him.

@@LiberalsArePoop Probably because he was the go to 1980's Teen jerk actor. Karate Kid ,European Vacation , Just one of the Guys, Back to school . He was just type cast. Oh and Conservatives are 3 week old moldy Diarrhea . Nothing personal.

@@LiberalsArePoop Agreed. I fell in love with him and his story. Plus he looks great! His drunk scenes were incredibly well done, but the "We're all gonna die kid scene was the best" I couldn't stop laughing. His growth as a character and actor was perfect

Mine too, and I grew up in the 80s, the best of Netflix, the success they got for this show was well deserved, hope they get an Oscar eventually... And it's the only show that I respect on Netflix...

This show should have began with Daniel meeting Johnny over a beer and opening up with, "Dude. What if... Now, hear me out... What if, we revived our old rivalry and dragged half the youth in this city into it. It will be awesome! Kids will be fighting kids, there will be broken bones, broken lives, broken property, the works! We can even bring in every single rival I had back in the old Miyagi days." Johnny: "Dude, it would never work."
