Synopsis: COBRA KAI takes place over 30 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament with the continuation of the inescapable conflict between Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka).
Season 3 finds everyone reeling in the aftermath of the violent high school brawl between their dojos, which has left Miguel in a precarious condition. While Daniel searches for answers in his past and Johnny seeks redemption, Kreese further manipulates his vulnerable students with his own vision of dominance. The soul of the Valley is at stake, and the fate of every student and sensei hangs in the balance.

I was a teen when the original karate kid came out. I gotta say this new reboot is very good, it doesn’t take itself too seriously, its funny, acting is spot on and love the 80s nostalgia. Well done Netflix on this show!! 👍

Just started watching it. Binged it really fast cause it's awesome. Was really bummed to find out that Season 3 JUST premiered less than a month ago, and I'll have to wait like a year for the next season to come out. Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) was among my favorite (and certainly one of the most eccentric) characters in the KK films. So stoked he's going to be in Season 4. I had a ton of doubts when this project was announced. I didn't think it would work. It's exceeded my expectations in pretty much every way.

Bingo. It's funny. It's nostalgic, but doesn't rely on it. Tons of fresh new characters that are as interesting, or more interesting, than the ones we're already familiar with. Great crop of young actors. I remember Xolo from 'Parenthood', and he is absolutely crushing his role. It's a hit!

So stoked Terry Silver's gonna be in Season 4. TIGs performance was SO over the top in Karate Kid 3, but it wouldn't have been the same without it.

@@amandaramirez9494 Loved it when she called Daniel "Daniel with an L". Tons of great nostalgia in this show, but it never relies on it. Plenty of great stuff going on with the new characters, that all the nostalgia bits are just gravy. Such a good show. So great to see Elisabeth Shue again. Her scenes were terrific and she did a great job working with both Zabka and Macchio again. She was one of my favorite 80s actresses.
