true tbh, they should go back to how grounded season 1, 2 and 3 were

This season felt so rushed and unrealistic, like Miguel should not just find his dad in like 2 minutes. Chozen should not just be alive and making jokes after being stabbed and bleeding to death in a pool, like what has this show become. I appreciate we got a lot of content and plot lines, we got Mike Barnes, more silver. But this season felt so different than the others. I hope in S6 we return to S1 and S4 feel

well said and totally agree!...let's be honest, the show for all intents and purposes has run it's course...it has gone from the sublime to the ridiculous with each season getting progressively worse than the previous one...all characters, plots, scenes, etc. have been thoroughly exhausted and used ad nauseum...next season 6, there needs to be final closure once and for all.

I agree. Here is my rant. Let's just be done with this and give us the 6th season already...for the first 2 seasons I was hooked, then it just fell for me (and many others I've spoken to). Yes yes, adding Terry Silver and John Kreese surely helped the later seasons, but this ongoing changes of characters loyalty and relation flips has been enough a long time. Now we can't cheer for anybody because at first X person fights for Y Dojo, then changes it, then dunno if they wanna fight anymore. Same with their relations. Over and over. Samantha's karate acting was so terrible that she had extra help doing her moves fyi, there are NO repercussions in this serie. Break a friends arm? Np, all good shortly after. Then we got Daniel's youngest (previously overweight) son who would rather play computer games using cheat codes then even think the word "karate" and now we're supposed to think this kid is now going to be some ultimate badass due to the drama with Kenny...yeah right. I honestly don't care anymore who will win this big thing in S6. Just gonna see it and be done with it. Like we watched Star Wars epi 9 after seeing epi 8 horrow show. To close the book. Can almost bet good money on that the writers isn't even going to let Johnny Lawrence get what he wanted and struggled a lot for to get. His version of Cobra Kai. Get it back. Because they "needed" to add a 3rd Dojo Eagle Fang (Miyagi-Fang...lol!). No cause they are too busy making sure everyone and everything is included in this soup opera because of the "everyone must be included" bs agenda we have today. I even called it out they would even add that "pottery girl" from karate kid 3, because she was in that movie, to just...be there. She was just refered for Daniel as "that girl". Did we get to know entire old Cobra Kai Dojo from KK1 movie, their backstory etc? No just the 4 main guys and it was more than enough. Karate Kid movies 1-3 was great anyway! Episode 1-2 = 👍 Episode 3-5 = Fillers, playing on our gut emotional feeling to make it "good" and add popular characters like Silver and Kreese. Just like how SW serie flopped adding Obi Wan & Anakin back. Episodie 6 = Don't care, finally it's soon over ☠

The Karate Scooby gang uncover the evil Terry Silver's plot(he would have gotten away with it if it were for those darn kids), Daniel becomes obsessed with hunting down Silver, Johnny knocked Carmen up and now we see him preparing to be a father again, numerous street fights, a 1970's style samurai fight to the death,.. Yeah, I agree this season was rather silly, but as a fan of KK3, this season was mostly Daniel finally getting his revenge on Silver..... the rest was just fluff and the writers struggling to come up with stories for the young cast and for Johnny to keep them in the story. Sad how it deteriorated like that, I'm so glad that S6 is the final one lest it go one and they are grasping at straws.

The fight scenes are trash

I really liked season 1, season 2 was ok but not good enough for me to keep watching, I haven't seen anything past season 2

Barnes should have had more fight scenes, He's a 10th Degree Black Belt professional fighter after all.

I would argue it's the best season. It doesn't take itself too seriously. It's tongue-in-cheek. It is an homage to the over-the-top movies and shows of the 1980s. Complain, complain, whine, whine. What is a good show in your opinion? All shows/movies are stupid LOL!

Of course it was... And that's perfect! Cobra Kai is a live action action anime, and a karate soap opera rolled into one that should not be taken seriously and it's why it works when it shouldn't
