London Fire Brigade Pump A242 & Pump Ladder A241 Mercedes Ategos responding from Soho Fire Station (A24).
Usually Soho are MUCH quicker to turn out, usually within a minute of the door opening. How-ever this time they were training and needed to put the ladders and equipment back on the appliances. You can see they usually turn out quicker because the door closes on A242 because as the timer for the door opening has finished.

Are all firefighters in england this calm and casual about it,firefighters in Scotland seem to be a bit more like "oh shit a fire hurry the fuck up" about it lol

Max Thomson Well actually this was an exceptional scenario, they had been training so they couldn't respond as quickly as normal. On the Second pump they forgot too put the main ladder back on as well ops

Sam Nicholas No the second pump doesn't have a main ladder all the time - it's a ladderless pump. How-ever there is still the pole if for some reason it needs a ladder.

I wander when they're going to replace these older 53 plate appliances, I haven't heard any complaints about them but they're quite aged now

Not in the UK. In the UK it's the 'London Fire Brigade'. Whereas in North America it's 'London Fire Department'.

No, as far as I know all the stations in the center of London (and that's quite a few of them) are full-time firefighters.

I looked it up and the London Fire Brigade, along with West Midlands and Guernsey, only has full-time firefighters. I wondered at first whether some stations in less busy areas had on-call firefighters, but that turns out to be wrong.
