Dennis, MAN, and Scania fire engines respond to scene 🚒

Hereford And Worcester Fire And Rescue Service | Pumps 431 (Dennis Sabre), 462 (Scania P280) and 463 (MAN TG) attend an automatic alarm call at Hereford County Hospital.It was a false alarm.

Wow ! Top notch video matey, only one thing wrong with it, it's another video when I'm shouting 'get out of the ****ing way' to the traffic, proper does my head in. I saw a West Midlands Police Skoda Dog Unit 'blue lighting' it yesterday when a Taxi pulled out in front of it at a junction and just sat there, UNBELIEVABLE !

Dennis the best appliance there by far best handling acceleration and cab, the MAN well they are a bit of a joke really the engine is gutless and they have numerous electrical issues, not fit for the job!, the Scania poor handling the cab nod is a joke on them and forget cornering at speed in one! No wonder attendance times have gone out of the window with having MAN and Scania in the fleet....

is the dennis light bar on wrong way seem the lights flashed more on the back than the front?

I think it's actually because of my camera. The lightbar is a strobe lighting. And my camera films much slower then the lights flash. Therefore the majority of lights is missed by my camera. The reason it shows on the back maybe because it's darker on the back of the vehicle - therefore the rays of light shone from the rear are much brighter and therefore last longer on each frame whilst recording my video. I hope that explains my theory anyway.

gimboyblue1990 Thanks! Yeah good it was a false alarm. Yes this is the retained MAN, first time I've caught it. Usually in Hereford I catch the day-crewed MAN with the whole-time Scania. Whereas back in Worcestershire it's usually the day-crewed/wholetime Scanias and the retained Dennis.

So in a sense, Scanias and Dennis are the Worcestershire equivalents of American trucks like Pierce, Spartan that kind of thing; while in Hereford MAN replaces the Dennis.

It was a false alarm - but they have to send these many fire engines because it's a hospital just in case.

Jake Frost I believe it was an Automatic Fire Alarm articulating, they always send multiple pumps because a hospital is a very high risk building. Thankfully appeared to be a false alarm.

The light bar on top wasn't working at the front only at the sides we had a Bennie sabre and if you switched the pump on when it was still plugged into the mains it would blow the fusses and some of the lights wouldn't work but apart from the it was one of the best pumps I have drove better than the scannia rubbish we have now they ain't very good in the wet
